I just wanted to brag a bit on behalf of my aloe plant. He really is “The Little Plant That Could”. I purchased him as a mature plant 2 years ago. 1.5 years ago, my parents 1 year old Great Pyrenees puppy destroyed him to the point I really thought he went to plant Heaven. I put what was left back in the pot and put him in the dark laundry room. (It was winter. I’m in Northern Indiana. That room gets quite cold.) After a few weeks, I noticed growth! Forward to today, and look how happy he is. I should probably transplant some of the babies though. My Green Congo Nuclear has its new home. Super stoked! I love the variagation on this plant and it has a yellow sport leaf with white variagation on it! I don't think you can see it well from the pic but the white splotches are there. And a half moon leaf beside it. So there is this little thing sprouting near my aloe plant! I was doing their daily checkup and I saw this, in so confused how a seed could have gotten in there. It's indoors but it is surrounded by other plants, I'm not going to pull it out because I wanna see what it is. I feel like it's a weed, but who knows! The picture with the grass island I swear, I see a yellow and orange flower. Check the purple flowers out they are blooming on the ferns .

Good morning wonderful plant friends. This is my beautiful Crêpe Myrtle. I planted it many years ago. A few years back it was damaged by several hurricanes and it looked like it was dying. Last year it appeared to be almost completely dead. As a result, I took a chainsaw and, sadly, cut it down. Now it’s coming back with a vengeance. I’m very happy. I guess all it needed was a good pruning. Hello everyone, Here is a “family” portrait of my Avacado plants/trees. I do not propagate my avocado pits in water. First, I soaked the pit in water for about an hour and peel off the outer layer skin. I put them in the soil in a pot, cover them in dirt about 3/4 of the way pointed side up. Then I place a clear plastic cup over the pit and keep the soil moist. Not all the pits will sprout, but about 50%. From the week old baby in the front to eight months old tress in the back.
