A day late posting, but I had to share my #freshleaffriday haul from #plantproper ! It arrived last night and I unpacked everyone, but wanted to get the best photos possible for you all. I am not entirely sure what happened. I was doing a great job not buying plants, then I kept hearing about how Plant Proper would go on Plant Story and have great deals so I finally joined. He latest leaf has finally finished unfurling and is absolute perfection 🥹 this is the first leaf she made completely in my home, as the one before started to arrive a day or two after she did (my plant card photos is when that one unfurled). Happy #freshleaffriday #greggang from all my #hoya blooms! In no particular order, since I'm not sure how the photos will play out: Hoya #retusa cutting I got a while back tried to bloom last year but it didn't quite work out, so here it is opening just one flower at a time (I managed to catch two in the photo). It's just so cute 🥹 Hoya #lobbii is my OG. My first hoya from one of my first plant friends a decade ago. She has always bloomed and the only reason she doesn't as much now is because I've given away so many cuttings she has to work to make more peduncles. Her blooms always make me feel like I am a good plant parent. [the orange and maroon] Another hoya that started as a cutting is my #wayetii and it put out its first peduncles this spring. I love how over the top long they are compared to others. The flowers are just SO PRECIOUS being round and velvety looking 🥹 Finally, my #sherperdaii a put out ten peduncles last year, maybe more, I lost count. She has been making the first floor of my house sound like someone lit a floral scented candle in every room. So far I think six of the peduncles have flowers, we will see if they all decide to this year. [White bunches with pink centers]. Happy #freshleaffriday fellow #greggers! I have a lot of fun things I want to show off this week, but my number one is MY NUMBER ONE WISHLIST PLANT. Thanks to #plantproper being literal perfection and @JCPlantProper being the best I couldn't turn down getting my #ficusshivereana! I talked it over with @RJG since I was nervous to take the leap, but he kindly assured me it would be fine. Then pushed me, obviously 😂 So here THEY are. Happy #freshleaffriday to those that "Friday" is a thing 😂 the times I've had jobs where "finally friday" meant something were great, but none of them were my favorite. 🤷🏽 I have SO many photos to share today! I tried to narrow it down but I just can't so they are continued in the comments. NEW PLANTS: 🌱 Hopefully I'm alright at this #corm thing because @lemrobs sent me four more! 🌱 I couldn't pass up @angelw1975 offer so I am about to build my own #lithopsarmy! PROPS: 🌱 My two pots of #snakeplant props both put out pups, or as I like to called them, snakelets! 🌱 My #watermelonpeperomia props are finally popping out of the soil! 🌱 The #monstera that I chopped and propped is putting out not one, but two new leaves! 🌱 #dwarfumbrellatree top is putting out it's first new growth since I put it in soil! 🌱 The #swisscheesevine I chopped and propped is also putting out it's first leaves! FLOWERS: 🌱 Both of my #kenyanviolet rescues are blooming for the first time since I saved them! PLANTS: 🌱 I cut my largest #rubberplant to try and convince her to branch better. Well, I have these three huge ones and five more that are teasing me! 🌱 My #ficusgem has been putting out the most perfect leaves lately, four and counting! 🌱 The #hoyarosita I got from #plantproper is throwing out the cutest new leaves! 🥺 🌱 My #krimsonqueen from PP is also throwing out it's first pink leaves! 🌱 Last but not least, 2/3 of my #strawberrybegonia are throwing out babes! In an effort to be the best #plantmom I can be I just updated all my plant profiles. All that is left is new photos. I still don't have as much energy as I'd like since surgery, but I feel like August is the last month I have to repot. I have a personal fresh leaf to share today: last night I submitted my application to the Master Gardener Volunteer program at one of our universities here in Maine.
