How to fertilize Blue Chalk Sticks
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Blue Chalk Sticks after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

How are these roots? I looked at the roots for the first time in the half year I've had this plant after suspecting root rot. #StringOfPearls

I think my variegated #SOP is enjoying its new spot on my east facing window sill! My sop journey has been quite the learning curve but I think we’re finally getting there. It acclimating nicely so I’ll be repotting her into a terracotta pot. I’ll probably keep her in the same size pot until it gets a little more root bound. When is your preferred time to repot your sops? #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #PlantAddict

Pretty much killed my sop. This was my first plant, gifted to me by a close friend. Unbeknownst to me, the soil became infested with fungus gnats and stayed far to wet for to long. It got root rot.. Heartbreaking I know. Anyways, I’ve now begun propagating what scraps I could save and will be beginning a new journey😣

New variegated SOP Hi all! I was wondering what your best care tips for your variegated SOPs are. I’ve got south, east, and west facing windows. My south facing ones are pretty strong (sunburning my non variegated sop in the afternoon). Where do you keep your variegated versions? Is this a plant I should maybe think about getting a grow light for? If so what’re your recommendations? Is chunky well draining soil good for these plants? Mine is a mix of orchid bark mix (including fir bark, pine bark, and perlite), and low moisture succulent soil. Also wanting any and all other tips yall recommend!

I’m new to the SoP world and I picked up this baby at Home Depot. She looks pitiful to me. I added a grow light on top but any tips are greatly appreciated! #StringOfPearls

I’m getting crispy strings and I feel like the app has me over watering my string of pearls. And maybe it needs more sunlight than what I was lead to believe? Any helpful tips? I’m very new to plant care #StringOfPearls

She's really not been looking happy lately. I've been thinking it's under watering, but I'm scared of giving her too much. Any advice on how to bring some life back into her? Ty! #StringOfPearls
