Silver Limbo Begonia
About Silver Limbo Begonia
There are over 2,000 species of Begonia, and horticulturalists have created even more varities by cultivating all sorts of shapes and colors! They're native to tropical regions around the world, but are now found in homes in cold climates as well. Their taxonomy is far more complex than other plants, with species belonging to different cultivar groups. They contain oxalic acid, so be sure to keep them out of reach in homes with pets or children! ⚠️

Silver Limbo Begonia may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.

How to fertilize Silver Limbo Begonia
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Silver Limbo Begonia after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

My ‘Pink Spot’ begonia has been a major work in progress since I got her in August 2025. She was jostled a bit on her way to PlantCon, so I got her for a steal of $5. Then I struggled with getting her conditions right for *months*. She lost so many leaves in that process, but just look at her now (top in pic). She’s finally thriving! Now I’m hoping she’ll get more pink in her leaves. I’m glad I didn’t give up on her #Begonia #PinkSpotBegonia

How would you handle this repot? #Begonia it flowered over and over this summer and into winter. One flower grew a strong baby. They’re both leggy and definitely need the soil refreshed and a stake. Would you separate them or leave them together? Bigger pot slightly or same? Def want to change to plastic she dries out quick

Help with my beautiful Begonia #Begonia I took this guy home the other day but i#he looks like he needs some help. The tips of its leaves are dried out and crinkly. I’m assuming because of a lack of water or something. However, there’s also some spots in the middle of a leaf that are almost looking translucent. Why could this be and what can I do to help it heal and be happy?
