Look what I got! You were right it’s a really cool book. Lots of good information. I’m not sure I want to do decorating with succulents, but who knows. I might be taking a pottery class so I could make some terra-cotta pots in the future. #Agave Is the leaves drooping and some turning yellow on the ends normal (excuse the few broken ones that broke when moving her outside for some sun, she’s a bit on the heavy side and a awkward pot for picking up). Should I repot my Agave outside of growing season to avoid/fix root rot & fungus issues? Xavier, my #agave Blue Glow still has wet soil (under the top dressing) although it's been 2 weeks since I watered him! 😓 (Due to too much heavy rainfall recently). I also noticed something that looked a bit like a fungus or mold in his pot which I would treat with a hydrogen peroxide solution soil drench but he's FAR from being ready to be watered again. I'm considering repotting him, treating the roots with hydrogen peroxide and giving him new gritty soil and a terracotta pot but... I know it's not 'technically' his growing season until spring. 😓 Although, in my experience many of my succulents grow all year! 🤷🏽♀️ I do live in California and grow outside, so I'm able to provide 4-5 hours of direct sunlight for him in my deck. He is otherwise healthy... You know, I’ve got to say that I really named this guy appropriately. He’s been through #AgaveWeavels, #BlackAphids, #spidermites and he’s still holding on. His blades won’t recover from those spots but he’s doing really, really well. I’ve got to baby him a bit more but he’s doing fine.
