Adam's Needle
About Adam's Needle
Adam's Needle is a popular houseplant 🌿 that is easy to grow and needs very little water to thrive. They do best in long-lasting, direct light ☀️ and should be less than 1 foot from a window.
Adam's Needle likes soil that is extremely well-draining. Your plant shouldn't need added fertilizers if you repot each time it doubles in size.
Adam's Needle belongs to the Yucca genus, and is native to the Southeastern United States.
⚠️ Adam's Needle is not safe to consume. If you, a family member, or a pet has ingested any amount of plant material contact Poison Control, US (800) 222-1222, or your veterinarian. If you have children, cats, or dogs in the home, we suggest keeping this plant out of reach.

How to fertilize Adam's Needle
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Adam's Needle after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Cutting yucca I'm wondering if in the spring, can I cut my yucca plant and have 2 plants? I'm asking because I see all these little nodes on the trunk, about 12 of them, but they won't grow, they've been stagnant all summer with a tiny bit of green sticking out (photo). Will cutting help the nodes grow? Will cutting the top off grow roots again? Thanks for any advice #yucca #yuccahelp #cuttings #advice #question

Hi. I have removed 3 pups from a yucca w a part of the stem. We let them each dry out for a week till they are sealed off. The middle one ,about 2 in tall, has what looks like mold or mildew on it. Should we treat it before planting? If so, what should we treat it with? We’re planting each 1 in a pot by themselves. Also, should we we bury the whole piece of stem? Thank you. #Yucca
