Finding light for Trailing Jade in your home
a window
Trailing Jade may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Trailing Jade in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Trailing Jade
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Trailing Jade after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

She’s been badly burnt! Will she spring back? This is my first time dealing with sunburn. She’s been on the windowsill (above a radiator) all winter and has actually grown super well, but the other day (one or two days ago) it was a lil sunnier than usual, but not so much to the point where I thought it would be an issue. Well. It was an issue. I got home and did the usual daily check over, and this poor darling had been really badly burnt. The small stem at the base of the plant was stood up by itself at the start of the day. Naturally, I soaked her in water (bottom watered) for about 20mins with a dash of fertiliser for good luck. I’m honestly surprised how quickly and badly she burnt - I was never going to keep her on the windowsill for summer since I knew this would happen, but I didn’t expect her to burn at the end of February! Thoughts? Do you think she’ll bounce back? How long do you think it’ll take? (P.S: please do excuse the white dots on some of the leaves. It’s not mealy bugs, just water marks! I will clean them off don’t worry) #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #TrailingJade #PepperomiaPod #help

What is she growing?! I was just checking over the plants that I watered today and I noticed Stella growing these long pod like things. Does anyone know what they are? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth

Is this natural growth? Since moving home I haven’t been able to find good lighting for my plants. This is the best place I could find that isn’t outside. Is this good growth or is it “I need more light growth”

Is this normal? Hi! My plant keeps getting wrinkly leaves even though I am watering it. Do I need to water it even more? Everyone keeps telling me these plants don’t need much water so I’m scared to overwater him. But I’ve also heard when the leaves wrinkle the plant needs water. So should I water or should I wait? #Sedum

Advice needed Hi everyone! I am planning to repot my plant second week of May and would like to know what type of pot, soil, and everything I should get for both of my plants (I have a trailing jade and a burros tail). I am shocked these two are still alive given my track record and I want to do the best I can to give them a good life! #help

What are these things #Crassula I just noticed these brown things on my plant and are curious what they are? I don’t want my plant to be unhealthy and want to become as educated as I can be on these things. Also I have to leave my plants in my dorm for a week while I am on spring break, I watered them today and will be leaving Friday and returning 9 days after. Will it be ok alone?

Does this work or am I slow? Hello! I am very new to plants and cannot keep them alive for the life of me. I currently have my plants in a compostable pot, can I use that pot to let my plants self water since it absorbs water? Or do I need to fully water them myself? #selfwateringpots #biodegradablepots #help

Anyone know exactly what this is? Some kind of Jade? Chinese sedum? My husband brought it home today.

Does anyone have training jade? I have three in hanging pots and after I did some pruning they all started looking sad. I feel like they are so delicate😞

Help please 🙃 I am having problems correctly identifieing this baby. I found it as a leaf at my local Walmart. Of course I could not remember the name of the momma plant by the time I found this app. Google photos and Greg both say either a trailing jade or trailing elephant. #goingcrazyhere
