I got two new cacti today šµ The first one is a Blue Myrtle Cactus, I love how tiny & cute they are. Itās kinda hard to tell the size in the picture but itās in a 3 inch pot. The second is a Fire Barrel Cactus, I love the magenta spines at the top! As well as the ridges in the cactus, all together is a super visually stimulating plant with its unique textures & colors. š I also potted up all my props that were ready for their own pot! Is this sunburn on the top of the ribs? I noticed they yellowing shortly after receiving the cactus and have been moving it away from my grow light. It seems to have improved slightly but I'm unsure with how localized the discoloration (directly on top) when the light is actually to the side of the plant. I just heard of this! And I love it! @PlantyPlanter tysm for this! So letās do an update on my thorny friends! Idk if #tigerjaws / #Faucaria count thoā¦if it doesnāt lemme know! š±Citrine! Heās doing FANTASTIC! He isnāt squishy AT ALL! (First time for everything I guess) Heās actually getting rounder and idk if thatās a good thing or not lol š #Mammillaria š±Pyrite! I might need to water tomorrow cuz the soilās dry and heās getting somewhat squishy. But overall the paleness is dying off! #Ferocactus š±Ruby! Not squishy anymore! Turns out, she was root bound in the other pot. So I freed her roots and put her in a different one with better drainage. Also some #NewGrowth !! Does anyone else second that?? š±RJ! As some of you may know, RJ had a lil fungus on him. I didnāt have fungicide so I had to remove two of his leaves. I was worried he would die rather quickly. BUT! Heās still alive and heās got some new growth on his baby and his little guy in the middle. Thanks to @dreamlettuce he wonāt die due to fungus! š±Citrine! As said before, Citrine was REALLY squishy. I didnāt know why. But I was quickly informed by @SirLiquorice that he needed water. Now heās not as squishy! š±Peridotā¦sheās overwatered. The tips of her leaves are turning brown. Iām gonna let her dry out for while and hopefully that will fix it! š±Pyrite! Omg! Heās doing SO much better! Definitely not as pale! šŖ“thatās all! Have a good day! Well, this happenedā¦ šŖ“ #ChaoticPlainsUpdates !! Story time yayyy!! š±I almost killed my #Ferocactus ! šæ STORY TIME!! Pyrite was very, very, pale and I gave him more sun to see if that would fix it. It didnāt, things only got worse. I checked to see the last time I watered himā¦the 28th of Julyā¦itās AUGUST 8th!!! It explained SO MUCH! I gave him a cup of water. šŖ“Now, hopefully, heāll be ok! If anyone can give me tips on how to avoid this, thatād be great! #SucculentSquad #CactusClique #Cactus

My turks head is one of my first and for most favourite plants, as it has great survival skills in indirect light (i keep mine about 4m away from the window) & it grows quite quickly, what not to ā¤ļø
