Here’s a few that caught my eye today, love the blooms on this one!! @roxyvivien yours are looking stunning as always😍💚
This isn’t mine. I think it’s from Mountaincrest succulents. My succulents suck. Dark wet climate 😥. Yours are thic and handsome
Oh, los angeles— perfect succulent climate 🌵🌵🌵
Here are a few!

A couple of corrections to the Greg ID:

Devil’s Horns is Crsssula rudicaulis.

Dancing Bones is Hatiora salicornioides.

Numaqua Gasteria is Gasteria pillansii.

Morgan’s Beauty is Crassula Morgan’s Beauty’.
And just a few more!

More corrections:

Fairy Crassula is Crassula multicava.

Perle Von Nernberg is Echeveria ‘Perle Von Nernberg’.
Last but not least!

Orange Delight is Sedum nussbaumerianum 'Orange Delight'.

Dwarf Butterfly Agave is Agave isthmensis.

Painted Echeveris is Echeveria nodulosa.
@TruthfulApricot Ooooh! 😍 I love the Pearl Von Nurnberg & the Gasteria! 💚

Both are on my wishlist!
@TruthfulApricot You must have a killer grow light set up! 😁
@EdmundG Awww, I know I'm blessed for succulent growing ...

But as a draw back rent is so crazy we can't afford more than one car and a one bedroom apt in LA - every city has its pros and cons, ya know? 🙃 🤷🏽‍♀️

I grow inside too tho! The Barrina T5 growlight stirps give me *almost* the same colors as outside and were affordable & super easy to set up.

I can share a link if you're interested?
@roxyvivien I understand. I lived in Key West 25 years. Paradise has a price but my garden was amazing.
My newest additions!! I’m hoping I can keep the jade comet and string of buttons alive bc I’ve killed 2 calico kittens now which has broken my heart😭🥺 also what is the succulent in the second photo, she’s stunning!! 🥰
@roxyvivien I didn’t have a single grow light until Christmas. Now I have four little ones. Luckily, I am blessed with very large windows.
Those chalksticks are cool as heck!!! 😲
@roxyvivien
Mezoo Trailing Red….
Still going strong 8 months later…
I have them inside as houseplants for the winter. They are still growing wildly.
This ❤️
My collection
Especially love my new Black Knight, which needs a couple weeks under the grow lights
@vvvelo What is this plant?
@silverlinings I love Haworthia Retusa!

🌟 🌵 They are very simple to care for inside, as long as you don't overwater or over fertilize!

I've never had a calico kitten before but I have a string of hearts that's taking me forever to figure out how to get it growing "chonky". Leaves like it had at the Nursery... so I get it!

The in between succulent/house plant varieties can be a challenge!

My philosophy with the delicate succulent strings is to very slowly over time expose them to the most amount of bright light that you possibly can offer them inside. Which usually involves a supplemental grow light because most people's apartments just aren't as bright as outdoor shade.

The second Pic is a Graptopetalum Murasaki.

Here are some more of them...

It's actually the same plant that's in with the blue chalk sticks and the one in last picture in the center of the arrangement.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen these grown very successfully inside even with a grow light they just don't seem to be as thick, big and vibrant.

The several I outside I have in full sun on a south west facing deck and I give them as much sun as possible all year until temps are over 85 and then I shade them from 12-3.
@TruthfulApricot Echeveria subsessilis
@soupycare Magnificent! What is it?
@TruthfulApricot it is about to bloom
@vvvelo That’s really cool. I try to have diverse colors, shapes, and growth patterns in my collection and I don’t have anything like that.
Wow! 💚 💙 💜 @vvvelo your E. Pearl Von Nurnberg, Lolita, and Lola are sooo gorgeous! 😍

So many of your succulents are gorgeous, but those are the three that just jumped out at me!
@TruthfulApricot honestly I'm not sure what he is it's a cactus of some kind. My fiance got him for me from lows
@roxyvivien thank you!
Oooh, Love the black night! 😯 🖤

I have a black prince, that I need to repot and I want to move it outside on my deck to see the color change.

Indoors under the growlight it's just not getting dark colors because it's too warm in my apartment at night. 😓
@TruthfulApricot here is closer look
@roxyvivien ahh that might be the source of my problems then lol I keep throwing them right into my window since they’re in hanging baskets so I’ll have to try that if I get another or if my propagations survive! The graptopetalum will definitely be on my wishlist for when I move to a much warmer area where I can have outdoor succulents most of the year, so so pretty! 🥰
@roxyvivien @WickedValkyrie @vvvelo @RJG Do you know what type of cactus @soupycare has?
@TruthfulApricot I know it's a mammillaria of some sort I think 🤔
Just a few of mine.
Beautiful
@TruthfulApricot @soupycare I have one...I believe it is a mammillaria carnea, but I'm not yet certain
My lil babies
and some of my beefs
@vvvelo Love it! Does it bloom often?
@TruthfulApricot idk. This is my new plant. This is its first bloom since I purchased it couple months ago.
@Dustmite Thanks. That’s my first guess but I don’t know cactus well.
@vvvelo It’s going to be beautiful! Post a photo once it blooms, please!
@roxyvivien My basement grow light has done wonders for my black prince, I just like how jet black the knight can get
These two are my favorites though! 😁
@roxyvivien you could always send your succs to live with me... 😜 My husband turns the AC on at night so there's been nights when I've woken up and it's been 58⁰ in here! 🥶🥶🥶 Lots of my succs are doin pretty colours rn tho... 🙃
@TruthfulApricot it's definitely a mammillaria of some sort, but otherwise idk. @SirLiquorice is the one to ask about cactus IDs.
@WickedValkyrie definitely looks like a mammillaria but I have to check what type. And I need to get pics of mine after work. My sushi plant is flowering again already
So beautiful!
@soupycare I am in awe of that! 😍 What kind is it?
@fitsedum Are those Sedervia Lilac Mist? I must have those soon! 🤩💜

I keep eyeing them online! 👀
@Dustmite OMG that's gorgeous, look like n entirely different plant!

You've given me the kick in the butt I need to repot it soon, get it acclimated, then move it outside so I can see it change before the weather shifts!

I wish I had a basement!... I guess I could set a grow light up in the garage (aka my office/gym) once I run out of room on my deck... Which will be very soon! Lol 😂
@WickedValkyrie if my boyfriend ever did that to me intentionally, he'd
have to find a new person to cook, clean, and do laundry for him, as I would go sleep at a friend's - permenently! 😂

I don't do well with weather under 65 degrees! 🥶😬😰
@TruthfulApricot I have huge Windows too... I love all 14 of them in my one bedroom apt! 😲

But even when I leave my Southern Kitchen windows open, I still notice plants stretching for the light - so this winter I upgraded to grow lights and it makes such a difference indoors.

It's really surprising how no matter how many windows you have it's never as bright as outside shade.

Every time I walk outside on my deck it just feels so much brighter! 🌞
@roxyvivien this is the lilac mist:
Oh neither do I @roxyvivien! I sleep with one of those warm fuzzy blankets and two big ass comforters and I pretty much live in sweat pants/sweaters at night. I keep the heater turned to 72⁰ during the day tho. Lol That's my comfy time. 😂
@AnthuriumQueen that lilac mist is GORGEOUS
@fitsedum That's the one! I'm in love! 💜💚

I've had this one saved in my Etsy cart for a while now... Just waiting for spring to hit so I have more room! 😁
@WickedValkyrie my bf doesn't go to an office for his admin work, he only leaves for some meetings and events, so we share the space 50% of the time... Therefore, we settled on 68 degrees as a compromise 😮‍💨... I'm always cold! ❄
@roxyvivien That’s an amazing looking plant! What is it?
@TruthfulApricot Sedervia 'Lilac Mist'
I feel you there, on weekends and during the summer it's always 69⁰ or lower in here... I prefer low-mid 70s. But even then most of the time in still a bit cold. There's been days where I've turned the heater up to like 78⁰... Lol 😅
@roxyvivien That’s a LOT of windows ! Especially for an apartment! That’s terrific.

When we move I definitely want shelves with grow light strips. We’re already looking for big bright windows when we look at houses. 😊

Myy String of Hearts pot that I was propping was only doing so-so until I added the lights in the photo. After they started getting that extra light they perked up and started getting new growth and the leaves already there got much bigger and had far better color.

I’m a believer! ❤️ 💡❤️
@roxyvivien I’m going to add it to my Etsy favorites right now! 😁

Edit: LOL It was already there! 😂😂😂
@TruthfulApricot
Ha! That's when you know it's meant to be! 💚💜 🌿

Good luck with the house hunting! 🙂🤞🏼🏡
@Propa It was hard to pick one "best answer" with all the gorgeous succs ithis thread...

But then I saw those adorable tiny flowers on whatever crazy living stone succulent that is and
was like...
"Hold up! Whaaat?! 😯 😍 🌸 🪨

Seriously! #whatthesucc #beautifulplant ?❣️😀🙌🏽
@roxyvivien these are stunning succulents!
@roxyvivien thank you!! Isn’t it awesome!? It’s a living stone Aloinopsis schooneesii I believe I found him at Home Depot
@EdmundG You lived my dream. My goal is to retire and spend several months a year near our daughter and grandkids in Florida. They live in Palm Coast. (I would move there entirely but my husband hates the hot weather in Fla in the summer.) I would have a year round garden and grow so many different flowers. Unfortunately I can’t retire yet because we need the $.
@PeaceLoveRoots Woah! What is that? Please don't say a fungus gnat! 😳 😂

You have a good eye! And an insanely good camera by the looks of it... and gorgeous succulent leaves! 💙💚
@vvvelo cutie
