How much and often should I water/mist my new Monstera Ad...
Hi Ishita. I check mine using a finger or chopstick. I allow mine to dry out a bit between wateringsβso at least the top inch of soil should feel dry. I think it works out to once every week snd a half. A lot
will depend on the conditions your plant is inβsuch as temperature, humidity levels, type of container, etc. these can all effect how often water is needed. Hope this answers your question! Happy growing! πͺ΄

I do the same as @LaSiguanaba and agree with what she said! Definitely depends on the environment provided. I would shy away from misting to prevent any opportunities for fungi or bacteria unless you have good airflow:)
Hi, Ishita! I totally agree with @LaSiguanaba and @S.ham13 - misting makes us feel like we are doing something, but it can cause more issues in the long run. If you home doesn't have the humidity that the plant wants, a humidifier is your best bet.
These plants also are not fans of direct light. From experience, when my Adansonii was receiving direct light, the leaves would yellow and die. π¬
