How to keep my ficus ginseng alive?

My plant is fairly small πŸͺ΄ near a window πŸͺŸsouth facing 🧭 and gets about 1 to 3 ⌚️hours of sunlightβ˜€οΈ a day. ⌚️ I have a heater πŸ₯΅ in my room and I think it’s causing my plant 🌱 to get some yellowing ⚠️ leaves. How do I balance βš–οΈ having my heater πŸ”₯ but also keeping my plant πŸͺ΄ happy. 😊 Thanks for all tips! 😍 #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #TheWateringHole #GregGang #Greggers #crazyplantlady #PlantAddict #TipsandTricks #ADHDPLANTLOVERS #EcoTherapy @MariansOasis @nellz4estfairyz @nellz4estfairyz @princesspitstop @DreamMachine

@Plantcatfinatic is that yellowing leaf the first leaf on its branch? It is totally fine to have plants in a heated room, but just know they will go through more water. If that is the oldest leaf this could be a drought stress sign. How dry is your soil right now?
@DreamMachine well I watered it just today
@Plantcatfinatic I'd say to just keep an eye on watering like @DreamMachine said. Your plant will take up more water due to the heater and just make sure it's not placed next to the heater.

Just be sure to water when the hope inches of soil is dry, you can check by sticking a finger in.
If you do that your plsnt should be fine
