Hi, it's the first time for me to plant potatoes ๐Ÿ˜Šso can ...

The white buds on the plant are likely flowers. Potato plants produce flowers, but these flowers are not typically used for ornamental purposes. Instead, they are a natural part of the plant's reproductive cycle.
After flowering, the plant will produce berries that contain seeds. However, potato plants are usually propagated through tubers (the underground stems that we eat as potatoes) rather than seeds.
Do you have any other questions about potato plants or gardening?
You are correct...they flower at the end of the growing season to attract pollinators and reproduce. Not all of them flower but since yours did it's a good sign of what a good plant parent you've been. Your plant has all the resources it needed to reproduce. Yay you!!
