Leaves curling on baby monsteras

I have a Monstera Oreo and a Monstera mint. I recently got them through the mail Friday. They seemed OK but I was told to put them under some grow lights and give them good humidity and some mist on their soil. Iโ€™m trying to let them acclimate, but Iโ€™ve never had fancy baby Monsteraโ€™s so Iโ€™m terrified of killing them. The leaves are curling. And I donโ€™t know why. The very tips of the leaves are starting to brown a bit and one stem on my aria was completely twisted around the plant when I opened it from the packaging nothing seems to be making them happy or perk them up. I even put a humidity dome over them in case they needed a little more humidity, but that doesnโ€™t seem to be doing much. I have my grow lights set to 25%. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #MonsteraMonday #Monstera #MonsteraMob #help ๏ฟผ

Sounds like you need to put these babies into rehab. Firstly whatโ€™s the soil/substrate like? Is it dry or wet? Water it if itโ€™s thirsty. Curling leaves could signal insufficient moisture at the roots. Have you checked the roots and is there any damage or rot? If so, chop this off with clean snips. If you want to increase the humidity, you could try placing the plant into a clear plastic tub and open the lid up a tad every day for 30 mins or so. Or a strategically placed clear plastic bag that doesnโ€™t touch the leaves. That would get the humidity right up but if you donโ€™t want to do anything too extreme, ensure you have some holes poked in there or a way to let air flow. I would give it a normal level of light from the grow light, otherwise at 25% it might not be doing much. Also do you measure the light output from your grow light with a light meter? Variegated varieties of monstera need more light than their non-variegated counterparts. I would definitely be starting with checking the soil though and ensuring the light is adequate as a priority :) ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ
If you just got them in the mail, they likely need some time to acclimate to their new environment. Any chance they were exposed to cold in transit?
@stephonicle yep๐Ÿซ  the heat pack was barely warm when I got the package. It was delivered 3 hours earlier than expected which is fine but I wasnโ€™t paying much attention to my phone dinging so they sat out there for a solid 30 minutes in 40 degree weather
