How to tame my unruly monstera?
I was given this monstera, and before I had it, it was planted along a hill and just grew freely. Is there any chance of me training this to actually grow up, or am I gonna have to chop it? I wasn't able to bend them safely enough to velcro to the pole, and they started taking the pole with them, so I'm afraid I might have to anchor the pole to the wall as well. #Monstera #MonsteraMob #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy

If you put a grow light above (or behind) the plant the leaves will turn toward it. The stems will try to as well and while they might be too old/thick it could be worth a try before you chop it!
That said, from the photos I think you'd only need to chop the top 1-2 leaves so if there is a good node there it might be worth it! I chop my monsteras a lot to train them and make them look more full.
