I always tell my plants they’re LUCKY they’re indoors because… whew… it gets crazy out there. We’re supposedly getting some harsh storms later today and all week so 😬🤞 time to batten down the hatches and hope for the best!

@Ms.Persnickety @Idplantthat Thank you! Yeahh, they are very very scary!! Tornadoes and hurricanes are some of my worst fears because of how quickly everything can just be gone. Hearing the storms outside always gives me anxiety, but that’s nature 🌱

I’ve been watching the news for a little bit. Fortunately my town is out of the danger, but northeast and south Arkansas have tornadoes going and earlier today they had some extremely dangerous tornadoes. It’s really sad and scary not knowing the damage yet and how badly people are hurt!! My heart hurts for them. Houses are already being reported as destroyed and over 28k without power… Wishing safety for all our storm neighbors in other states 💕
I mean, this tornado they had earlier has me 😳 they were saying it was extremely dangerous and strong as seen by it having an arm coming out!!! Something about upward… vortex… uhh… a bunch of scary sounding words that I can’t remember lol. All I know is it was bad news!

@itsjordan omg! 😱 this is terrible, 😢 I’m glad you’re safe still.. but like you, and the others my heart just breaks for everyone losing so much! That’s so awful, I will keep my fingers crossed 🤞 and a little prayer that this passes soon! Please let us know if we can do anything to help.
@itsjordan it’s absolutely crazy! And now the flooding in Memphis and surrounding areas. A friend of mine in north Ms had a tree down. We got lucky and just had trash cans and basketball goal turned over. My husband is a line man so I won’t be seeing him for at least a week! So glad to hear your safe!!!!! It really is devastating seeing this destruction of peoples homes. 🙏🙏

If you haven’t seen photos from here, check out these pictures I just saw… it’s so devastatingly beautiful to see the storms. Fortunately it seems like our big tornadoes were mostly in rural fields, so not a tremendous amount of damage (but still obviously too much devastation still occurred)… The lightning photo is crazy!! It was taken by someone in my little town too, so it’s crazy to see what was going on just outside. It was a light show all night long and the thunder shook the house every time.
