Orchid experiment.....
She's in a self watering pot but it's not set up like a self watering pot. No wick. I'm using the bottom part to catch the water. I'm using distilled water. I put a layer of the chunky bark and then a thin layer of leftover live spaghum moss i had leftover. Then a layer of the chunky bark to hold her in place so she doesn't fall over. I left some of her roots exposed so I could keep an eye ð on them. After doing some Google search I see now they use moss and bark. I thought they only used bark. I want to see if the live is better than that other dried up stuff you buy from Lowe's.
