I’m just reaching out bc I sent an email to the email address included in the message but when I checked this morning, gmail had bounced it back to me as undelivered bc the email address I sent it to is inactive? I double checked my spelling and everything and I spelled it correctly…not sure what to do at the point lol…any ideas?

@PioneerRutabaga I replied!!!! Not sure what happened!!
@PioneerRutabaga check your email and let me know if you got it !!
Congrats on the win. I’m amazed by the succulents in your collection. Also the size. I thought I had a lot at 200. Do you have a greenhouse or is your house super large. I have both and still have trouble finding space. Hope we can be friends I bet you know a lot about plants even if phones confuse. I do phones well, plants so so.
@BEsucculent hey Barbara!! Im so glad you commented bc I was looking through your oasis and you baby fingers caught my eye!! Yours are so fat and healthy…how do you do that?!?! lol tell me everything!!! I beg you!!! There are a handful of plant species that despite my best efforts, and despite being able to care for “diva” type species like begonia or Calathea, there are a list of maybe 10/15 plants that I just can’t seem to get the hang of for one reason or another and baby fingers are one of them!!!! It really bums me out too, bc they are so cute and just right up my ally as far as specific types of plants that I tend to gravitate to. lol I’m currently on my 4th baby fingers plant that I got about 3 or 4 months ago. So far, it’s the longest I’ve been able to keep one alive but it doesn’t look fat and healthy like yours. Please…tell me everything!! lol. Where do you keep yours? Does it have a grow light? What does your potting medium look like? Do u water with rain water? How often do you water? What should I look for as far as physical signs of thirst? I am a sponge and want to soak up all of your baby finger knowledge if you would be so kind…
To answer some of your questions, my house is 3 floors bc we have a finished attack but funny enough, I actually don’t have any plants on our 3rd floor as half of it is my husbands “man cave” and the other half functions as my closet/knick-knack and decor storage area lol. By far, the majority of my plants are on the first floor where the kitchen and livingroom and dinning room are. There are a few different factors that allow me to have the amount of plants I have lol by far the biggest thing is the sunroom that I have. We remodeled a few years ago and added a sunroom onto the side of our kitchen. 3 of the 4 walls are windowed AND I just happen to luck out that the biggest wall faces south. The two smaller walls face south east and south west. The sunroom itself is approx 10X12 and it is ALL PLANTS!!
The other thing that allows the numbers I have are the bay windows I have in both my dinning room and my living room. My dinningroom window faces south as well so that’s actually the window and window area that I keep all of my cacti and succulents in and then the bay window in my living room faces north west so it’s perfect for my Aglaonema, Phylio, Ficus, and Dieffenbachia…few other odds and ends stuck in there too. By far, those factors are the biggest contributors that allow me to indulge my plant addiction the way that I do lol.
I actually did have a greenhouse, it’s such a sad story tho, long story short, my husband got it together for me at the end of the summer last year, so like august of 25. He left it on our back deck tho instead of putting it down in the yard and then one of the bad stormed we got over the winter (I live in NEPA) the wind came up from under the deck and basically just used my greenhouse as a ball lol….threw it completely off of the deck into pieces scattered through out our yard and my poor neighbors yard lol. I’m learning to laugh about it but it still breaks my heart bc I never even really got to use it at all…ironically, the metal was all twisted but none of the pieces actually snapped and all of the clear sheets that make up the greenhouse were all in one piece and basically undamaged as well, so I’m hoping well somehow maybe be able to salvage it this summer….im not sure about that yet…time will tell I guess…lol.
But omg yes, of course!!! I am always happy to gab about plant/plant care/plant finds…lol…basically anything plant related and I have made some wonderful friends from this app already. We actually communicate through txt outside of the app bc all the scrolling can be a bit much on here but I am always up for new plant friends and I have a feeling there’s a lot I’d be able to learn from you!!
