I help my mom every year start her garden. This year, we tried prepping the garden differently, totally worth it! πŸ₯° πŸ₯°πŸ˜‚ My nieces and nephews got a new bearded dragon. We call her Luann. She’s about the sweetest thing I’ve ever met, and I am really not a reptile person 🦎 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #TheThread #TheWateringHole #PropagationStation #PlantTherapy #PetsAndPlants #PlantCorner #BeforeAndAfter #PlantShelfie #PlantID #OutdoorGrowing
I was cleaning up these beauties
Just a few more πŸ˜‰πŸ₯°
@Idplantthat very nice and Luann is adorable
What a cool bearded dragon! And nice job on your clean up! I lose all desire to be outside in August and everything just scorches.
@MamaLinne Thank you! Her garden is gorgeous this year. Luann was really sweet, and luckily didn’t get scared by my dog or me. So that was definitely a bounce.
Omgosh- is that zucchini or squash, and tomatoes??? Look at how lush it is!!And that dragon?!!! It’s gorgeous! I wasn’t a reptile person either until my boys fell in love with a little lizard they named Booger….i know lol - boys!! I’m still drooling on that garden!!! πŸͺ΄πŸ’•πŸ€
@Idplantthat Please tell us your new prep routine Rachel!!!
Awee! I had a green anole, they are so much tinier than a bearded dragon. I've always wanted one though! There are also bearded dragon leashes as well πŸ˜‚
@debbiedo honestly super easy, and I’ll have to show you my little garden out back. Once I go out in a minute, I’ll get a picture. But this year we prepped her garden with granulated Powersi we dug into the soil, and then let it start working into the soil for a month before we planted any plants, then let it do its six months. We then a month after when we plant we put crab and lobster shells on top.
@Idplantthat Well it sure worked! Can’t wait to see your garden pics!!
@izzyandsugar that’s what my niece was saying, they have leashes! I was shocked; where do they walk and do they like it?? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚
@Idplantthat some of them probably do, they come in different sizes though. I assume they like it warm but not hot.. they are desert animals after all. They like basking in the sun, but they are scared of birds since they're prey

They would probably walk on the road or sidewalk, some are fast and some are slow and never tug on the leash, their bones and insides are fragile!
