#TheWateringHole Hello everyone! Hope y’all had a happy 4th of July! It was pretty boring at our house. We did have a coffee/frappacino date and then had grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. I was just happy to be off work for the weekend.
In plant news, I finally got around to repotting my moonshine snake plant, as well as doing a bunch of watering. My hubby just finished watering his hostas and the outdoor flowers. It’s blazing hot outside.
I’ve included pics of our July 4th decoration (other than our American flag which stays out year round), my moonshine snake plant in its new digs, and my hubby’s hosta he bought a few weeks ago when we bought our outdoor flowers.

Hi Joy. It was real quiet here as well. Too hot to do anything outside. I putzied around propagating and re-potting. I'm trying to leaf propogate some of my begonias.

@RefinedSandwort Good Afternoon, to you! 🌞 I didn’t celebrate, stayed 🏠 and watched the fireworks 🧨 from my balcony. But, earlier that morning, I repotted two of my plants. One being my Philodendron Moonlight, a before and after photo of her and my Ficus Shivereana in to a bigger and better soil for them! 😉 Love your Moonshine 🐍 Plant, which I have one too, and your husband’s Hosta Plant is gorgeous!! 🙌 I love the variegated 🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃! Have a relaxing Sunday on purpose! 😉

We watched fireworks on TV. We had some neighbors setting some off. Our poor kitty retreated under the bed in the guest bedroom. We’re having a nice quiet afternoon at home.

Happy Sunday to @RefinedSandwort and #TheWateringHole gang🇺🇸🎆 We didn’t do anything special either as I was down for the count with a cold 🤧 that unfortunately caused so much sneezing & coughing that it hurt my stomach. Note* I have an extremely sensitive stomach so it doesn’t take much to make it unhappy😑. Anyway…. I had moments of feeling better and got some watering 💦 done ✅ Snapped a few pics along the way-a newbie leaf 🍃 on my ficus with late afternoon sun shining on it. And an unfurling leaf on the Red Congo. Funny I bought the Congo with 2 birkins potted with it. I took them out several months ago and have come to really like him all by himself😘
@RefinedSandwort the nursery had it in a 4” planter and the leaves are so heavy, it was toppling over. But, all in all, I love it. Sorry, 😞 for anyone’s pet, who don’t take kindly to loud noises.

@SweetAzurebluet hello Harriet 👋 so nice to see you! That moonlight definitely is gonna love his new digs 🪴👍. I found when I potted mine up he took a bit to get used to it. Not much happened for several months. He’s just now starting to come around again. The leaves 🍃 on your ficus are so pretty 😍!! Ficus are such great houseplants 👍👍👍

@MariansOasis Yes, they definitely are, I couldn’t agree more. Probably that’s why I have 3 of them! 😉😂 I have my Moonshine under a grow light, and she seems to like it. She also has a new 🍃 which unfurl recently
@Idplantthat I was in a different section of the Home Depot garden center when my husband put it in the cart. I have no clue what it is. I do know that I paid for it!
We enjoyed an afternoon on the boat yesterday and made sure to be tucked back in to our place before the fireworks started.
This is our first 4th with our new doggo and we were glad to find that they didn’t bother him much 😅
In plant news, the fungus gnat war continues 😒 (I think I’m maybe gaining some ground?)
And on a more positive note, my Shell Ginger is thriving under its grow light and is even putting out a new shoot from the dirt 🎉👏🥳🙌
