An early good morning my dear lovelies!
The pot that Mr. Rattlesnake came in had a huge drainage hole.
This set of pots also included a plastic circle with holes to put on the bottom of the pots.
That's what you're seeing.
I should have taken a close-up photo of the bottom when he came out of his pot.
When BFF Kimberly got that plastic drainage free, what was exposed was the shape of a beautiful 😍 heart ❤️!
Kimberly has tattoos all over but I haven't really checked them out...there may be a plant or 2 tat!
I got her addicted to houseplants and gave her lots of cuttings to propagate.
She's the sweetest person and has a a gentle way about her.
My plant 🪴 Tribe calls her Auntie.
There's an old saying: "You can't judge a book by its cover", or something like that...lol
All of my life, when it comes to repotting, for some reason I become extremely anxious 😟, shaky, and sweaty and am blessed that she enjoys doing that for me.

@CutePolypremum it’s completely amazing! 😻 I’ve seen the cone-style inserts that are supposed to be amazing, but I’ve never tried it. Your friend sounds like an absolutely amazing person who cares about you tremendously; that’s a rewarding friendship and sounds like the two of you have a lot of fun. I get anxious too about repotting; even though I know it’s going to be good… I still get anxiety that nope this is the time I kill it. 🤣🤣 but that’s me I overthink myself often. 🤦♀️

It's coming upon the stroke of midnight and looks to be one of those sleepless nights so...what else to do but play around and go down a rabbit hole with Greg!

Maybe because we're uprooting our babies? Maybe we can sort of compare it to going to the dentist? Hard to go through but in the end it's necessary and the results make it better, like you mentioned.

She helps me so much and absolutely loves repotting.

@CutePolypremum ha ha ha 🤣 oh my goodness, I love the journey and I love the challenge that comes with all these different plants. But I’m with you, repotting is like going to the dentist. But I also think it’s kinda super fun; (I mean if they don’t die or something.. 🙃🤣) to see all the roots and how they are growing. I mean you really do feel blessed and happy to have them. You get attached to them. So I can see why your cute friends love it, and I can definitely see why you have anxiety. 😥 I’m so sorry you can’t get sleep; 💤 that’s one of the worst things; especially if you don’t feel good. You need the sleep to feel better but you don’t feel good enough to get to the place where you can sleep. Ugh, 😩 it’s a double-rooted vine! You just don’t know what to do.. 🫶🏻🥱🛌 I hope you can get some sort of relief

@CutePolypremum 🤣🤣 That’s too great; your plants and her plants are lucky they have so much love. I tell myself that’s the reason why Saga digs and chews up plants. And her sister is the same; but with my clothes and shoes. She’ll get into my closet, get her head into a shirt, and refuse to let us take it off, so we generally go, “Okay, sister,” and put it on her and give her a shoe to carry. (She’s the bossiest little string bean.) But she loves you so much, she loves to hug you and sit in your lap. She wants you to lay your head on her chest, and she wraps her front paws around your neck one on each side of your shoulders and puts her head on top of yours, then pulls you close. (Seriously, we ask her all the time where her weirdness comes from.) When I get sick, my puppies lose it. I wake surrounded by toys, shoes, and anything else they think is special. I won’t go into some of the very surprising things that have made it into the house… 🤣🤦♀️
@CutePolypremum That’s Nurse Siggy (aka string bean; otherwise known as “Bossy Britches”). Don’t mind my awesome face. 🤣 It was a hard health day. Second is Siggy in her jammies. She wasn’t ready to take them off yet. Then that’s Saga next to her. Face of an angel, but man, she kills a lot of plants. Whenever she gets in double, she freezes. And then once, she realizes she’s not being scolded anymore; she comes over and hits you with her head and then leans on you to tell you it’s okay. She still loves you, even if you do plant trees in her yard. 🤦♀️🩵🐝🌸🫶🏻🐾
