Help! I received this snake plant in the mail about a 2 week ago, I put her outside for about an hour a day to get good sunlight. I
I noticed these little light spots and a wrinkled leaf beside her.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is? She’s not overwatered n doesn’t get any direct sunlight #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #TheThread #TheWateringHole #brunchataudreys #SnakePlant πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’•πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ πŸͺ΄
Hi Sherri! Do you think it’s a bit sunburned?
@MamaLinne hi Deb at 1st I did but googled the picture and it said it was a overwatering fungus; I know it’s not overwatered! They there is the wrinkles on the one leaf πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ thank you. The leaf is strong not getting soft!
@Preciousplants1 apologies I post this am then te day took off n I been busy busy busy and just getting time to post again
@SuperbRaspfern hey Shannon pray all is well: I know your busy but can you give me your input? I’m @DreamMachine @debbiedo @MariansOasis @princesspitstop @Hoyaobsessed @MamaLinne n I are thinking maybe sunburn but google disagrees
@Preciousplants1 @MamaLinne Hi Sherri dear ☺️ When you put your snake plant outside for an hour, do they get any sunshine directly on their leaves in those spots then? Or do you put them outside in the shade? Even snake plants, who like full sun need to be slowly acclimated to sunshine, especially if it’s outdoor sun which is much stronger than what comes through our windows.

That being said, I’m not sure if this is sunburn…if you have time, could you show me a couple more pictures? When I try to zoom in on these they get a little blurry. 🧐
@DreamMachine hi Nadia here’s some more picture, hope they’re better!
I sit it on a stand away from the sun in the evening but as the sun moves towards the plant I grab it back inside. It’s also in a south facing window 😬 @MamaLinne @SuperbRaspfern
