@TheConservator I found a prop box the other day at Goodwill for $3.00 it's so perfect with the inner basket and a vent lid on top! I think it's some kind of refrigerator veggie container originally.

@Saturn572 Since joining the app I've fallen in LOVE with Hoya! I have 1 and a half Hoya lol 1 Khroniana and a Krimson Princess that is being water propped right now and is finally growing roots.

@Saturn572 Maybe in 10 years you can meet up with us for a plant swap! Or you can bring your Dad! We meet in public places. We can give you some cuttings of plants so you can grow your collection! No pressure though. Just something to think about since you're local. 😁👍
@Saturn572 Yeah I had to remove a cactus of mine recently. Even us adults have plants that are unalive. 😭 It happens. Point is we learn from them. Right?
@princesspitstop your right. The only thing I didn’t learn is from my Mexican purple flowering wild bush. Dad was too impatient and didn’t notice the smell there! It smelled like really nice.

@mintimidation I love fittonia!!! But of course I have to plant from seed. Because when I buy or borrow a plant, I don’t know much how to care for it. But the ones I grow is the ones I have bonds and experience with.
@princesspitstop I think the caudata is fuzzy and carnosa is smooth, waxy, white pink or red and light yellow. Maybe it’s light yellow from pollen

@princesspitstop .. is it okay for my orchid flowers to get spots? I put it in water and noticed this from when I bought it.
@Saturn572 Those flowers are gorgeous 🥰 just keep an eye on it. They don't like to be over-watered. I think that sponge block that was in there was how its roots got water. You would keep the block wet and the roots would be touching it and when the block dries out you would get it wet again.
@Saturn572 You can soak Orchid's roots in water only when the roots turn gray. If they are green take them out. They aren't meant to live in water 100% of the time. The rest of the time you can set it inside the pot with dry soil. Then when the roots are gray again you can soak them again. Also be super careful when you water it that you don't get water in the crown of the orchid. The crown is the middle part where the leaves grow from the stem. Let me see if I can find a picture for you. I found one. 👍 If you accidentally get water inside there get a paper towel and roll it up and put it gently inside to soak up the water. It could get something called crown rot and it could hurt the whole plant. I don't want anything to happen to that beautiful plant you have ☺️

@Saturn572 lay the leaves out flat and give it some sunshine. Everything the plant needs to grow is held inside that leaf. You don't have to water it or anything until it starts growing roots. Don't mess with them. Just be patient and they will start growing but they need to lay flat on top of the soil
@Saturn572 Not on top of each other. It will start growing from the end that was attached to the stem so make sure that part is touching soil. Don't plant it just laying on top. 👍😊
@princesspitstop ok but there is a tiny line which is so hard to see on camera it’s really white andlooks like the old leaf roots that rooted a week ago also I need help because this always does not work
@Saturn572 Remember lay them down and don't mess with them. If you have another pot you can put them in so when you water the momma plant it won't disturb them that would be a good idea
@princesspitstop not sure why but this was the only pot left because I remembered there was 4 giant pots I never used but only used 1 and suddenly they dissapeared
@Saturn572 That's ok. Do you have a paper or plastic cup that you can poke holes in the bottom of? You can cut it to where it's short. You won't need anything big. Pretty much anything can be a pot! Get creative 😊

@princesspitstop I could use scissors but it needs to be sharper and plus the opening is too small for life
@Saturn572 Ask your parents to help you cut the bottom off of a water bottle or cup. Scissors will work just fine. They aren't that hard to cut through. Definitely don't do it yourself!!
@Saturn572 those caps are thick and not easy to poke holes in. Besides it's way too small. Those water bottles are so flimsy these days you can almost crunch an empty one up into a ball lol

@Saturn572 Do you know how to check your plants to see if they need a drink of water or not? Just so you don't accidentally overwater them?
@Saturn572 Most plants like their soil to dry out a little bit before you water it. Check the soil by putting your finger down into the soil a couple of inches. If the soil still feels wet from the last time you watered it wait to water it until you put your finger into the soil and it comes out dry. That way you won't accidentally give it too much water.
@Saturn572 I was thinking about recycling things around the house to use as pots for plants and I thought of one while eating breakfast. 😁 You can reuse a yogurt cup. Ask your parents to poke holes in the bottom of one and fill it with soil. You can propagate your succulents in them or start seeds in them!
@princesspitstop ok so my Timelapse failed 😂 my GoPro was turning off randomly when it was still charging. So nobody touched it so it moved
@Saturn572 I googled it! Your GoPro has an "Auto Power Off" setting in the preferences menu that can be set to "Never" to keep it from shutting down automatically when idle

So I got one and found out that the one I wanted was a Hoya Bella and I got Hoya carnosa! Still, I wanted the three Hoyas being:
Hoya Bella, purple flowered Hoya krohniana, and the Hoya carnosa!!
When I was identifying plants it randomly said waxflower. That time, I wanted the Hoya so bad because of the flowers picture!!
So I got one and found out that the one I wanted was a Hoya Bella and I got Hoya carnosa! Still, I wanted the three Hoyas being:

@princesspitstop ya know, I was never into plants with Krystal before that. UNTIL HER FUNNY LOTUS POND VIDEO OMG LIFE CHANGING I think it was about two months ago when she added a fountain to her BIGGEST lotus pond.
