Happy birthday. You should get a Buddha belly plant if you can find one. I had never heard of it until I saw one months ago. I bought it and don’t regret it. It has been blooming and growing huge leaves yet I don’t need to water it often because it’s a drought tolerant plant. It just looks cool to me also. But one of the easiest to care for. It attracts butterflies also. And I found this one for $19.99 so it was surprisingly inexpensive. Or the had bigger ones for $29.99. But now mine is probably bigger and better looking than those were at the time.

@AnnMarie420 yeah it’s weird I didn’t know that plant existed and had never heard of it or even seen one in pictures before. Then I saw one at rainbow gardens nursery close by. They still had more the other day so I was thinking of getting one as a gift for my friends mom. Since it’s only $20 and you only have to water it maybe once every 7 days. Maybe could wait longer but the leaves might grow bigger and better if you don’t wait too long. I wouldn’t water too often to avoid rot. I put it in a soilless cactus mix from rabbit hill farms and it seems to love it. That stuff drains and dries fast . It’s been growing like crazy! The leaves are getting ridiculously big. And I love the look of this plant. It looks like all the cool caudex plants pretty much.
