About Trumpet Jade

This variety of Jade is known for its comical ogre-ear like leaves. The Jade plants they originate from have been used for centuries across cultures for their beauty and healing abilities. Tree-like succulents, these houseplants can live with you for your entire life, or longer—up to 100 years! Jade is commonly used in the traditional practice of feng shui, creating energy to harmonize people and their environments—and encourage the flow of money. 💸

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.

By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.

To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Trumpet Jade after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

It’s definitely been dropped a lot and had its roots been played with when it was too young but it was great. Survived my husky.

This plant is so sensitive… so sensitive that I got annoyed with it and neglected it with spite. Although it grew quickly at the beginning, it stopped growing abruptly and began being terribly dramatic after a few weeks. This could be due to the fact that it dries out quickly because little soil can fit in this super cute pot (from Groovy Plants Ranch, highly recommend: 5 stars). However, this may have been my fault because I chose a needy, thirsty plant for my rainbow hanging pot. Overall, do not buy this plant unless you want to provide it with small sips of water and tend to its every need for at least 40 hours a week.

Keep it away from your pets! Even if you ignore this plant it will keep thriving. If you are a low maintenance plant person. This is a perfect starter succulent!

Neglected my poor guy for over 6 months, should have re-potted him sooner but he didn’t give up on me! It took quite awhile for his leaves to get yellowed and shrivelled but now that he has what he needs, he is thriving with new growth and firm leaves!

I hardly touch it cause that’s what seems best but I did notice it needs a lot more water then most of my succulents as it started to get wrinkles

I’ve found this succulent to be really easy, some require way more light or less water or whatever else. This guy can handle whatever I give it.
