How to fertilize Tillandsia Xerographica
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Tillandsia Xerographica after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

My new girl, I'm impressed beyond words; her leaves are a bit dehydrated, but she's beautiful and huge. One of my air plants died a week ago; hopefully, I can do good with this preciousness.

Still struggling with my #TillandsiaXerographica Hey everyone! I got this gorgeous #AirPlant for my birthday back in September, and while he hasn’t been struggling too badly, his growth has massively slowed (though that could be due to the season change, I know), and he still has these browning/dying ends on some of his tendrils. They don’t seem to be spreading which is good, but I want him to thrive and keep growing and stop any other brown bits!! Any ideas on how to give him a little nudge? #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner #PlantLove

Browning on my air plant? So I’ve had this air plant for a nearly two months and I think he’s doing fine, but recently I’ve noticed the end of some of the tendrils turning brown, and growth has massively slowed (although it is winter). Any clues what this could be? I mist infrequently, especially now that it’s winter, but it’s set next to a dish of water and two other plants of mine #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner #TillandsiaXerographica #AirPlant #help #WinterIsComing #misting

#TillandsiaXerographica Noticed that one of my air plants is sprouting roots when watering it today. Is it yearning for the dirt life? Or is it having a baby 😂 or what? #TillandsiaXerographica

Xerographica in ICU I COULD LITERALLY KILL MY DOG... Seriously, she's lucky I didn't have an axe to throw. I have no idea if this air plant has any chance whatsoever, but it's sitting on my plant shelf with high hopes.

How do I take care of my #AirPlant(s)? 🌿🪴✨ Hi friends! 🫶🏽 wanted to make a quick post to ask y’all about airplants! I’ve been invested in them for quite awhile and I was gifted a cute airplant setup by plant bestie @ShinyBudew 😊 I know absolutely nothing about them, other than the fact that they don’t need soil to survive! Help me out #GregGang 🙌🏽 Which ones do I have? Can anyone #PlantID these precious babies? How do I go about watering them? They feel somewhat soft and unsure how to tell when they need to be watered! Should I mist them since my room gets dry/cold? Or is misting bad for these babies since they’re velvety/soft? Thanks in Advance 💚💚💚 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #plantfriendsarethebestfriends #CentralTexasGang #kscapedream

I think my friend here got crown rot. I’m not quite sure though. He seems to be surviving but I want to know if there is any recover after this. Or will his health keep declining slowly. I haven’t been giving him much direct sun light. And watering scarcely because I don’t want to over water.

I water every 2 weeks. I pour distilled water in a bowl and let her soak for about 20-30 mins. I think shake off excess water and spray some fertilizer on her. I set down a towel near a window and let her dry for about 3-4 hours. Sometimes I use the blow dryer afterwards to make sure all the water is gone. You don’t want to over water them or they will rot. Drying well after watering is key!
