Pink Allusion Arrowhead Plant
About Pink Allusion Arrowhead Plant
Syngonium podophyllum is a popular, easy-to-care-for houseplant with beautiful arrowhead shaped leaves. You’ll often see these plants grown in their juvenile stage, but given something to climb on and abundant sunlight you may see them mature into their adult stage! The leaf shape changes as they mature and may even appear to split into three individual leaves. In the wild they can climb up to 65 feet tall. Be sure to handle them with care, as their sap contains oxalic acid which can be very irritating to the skin and eyes. 👀

How to fertilize Pink Allusion Arrowhead Plant
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pink Allusion Arrowhead Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Curled/rolled up leaves My plant has had leaves that have been rolled up for a while now. What’s causing this? Is there something I can do so that the leaves will unfurl?

Syngonium Roxana? I only just learned about syngonium Roxana and now I’m wondering if my pink has been a Roxana all along. It has always plagued me how quickly the new growth fades. I thought I was doing something wrong but maybe it’s just the ID that was incorrect. It wasn’t marked when I bought it. I don’t know what the likelihood is that a Roxana would have appeared in a struggling Walmart Garden center last summer. First three pics are the variegated prop I’ve been working on for the last year or so. Fourth picture is the mother plant. The prop is kept under grow lights with a humidifier in absolutely ideal conditions. New growth comes out very deeply mauve but fades quickly to a pale yellow/green with mauve veins. Variegation can be a vibrant lime green. #Syngonium #GregGang

Syngonium Variegation Progress Some of you may remember (but I don’t expect anyone to) that I had one random variegated leaf emerge on my pink syngonium several months ago (maybe even a year ago now) and have been repeatedly propagating it since. Nearly every single prop has reverted, I’m down to two. One looks like it has reverted so I will probably return it to its mother pot. But this one last prop, Perdita, is putting out gorgeous speckles. Every time a new leaf emerges I hold my breath until it unfurls. Well, she’s got a new leaf and this won’t be the one that sets me back. 😍😅 I removed Perdy from her node about 2 weeks ago and there are two new pups emerging now. Hopefully we’ll eventually see 101 Dalmatians! #FreshLeafFriday #FreshFeaturedFriday #HappyPlants #Syngonium #vareigation #vareigationEncouragement #PropItLikeItsHot #PropSpot #props #PropsToGreg

Dying leaves Help!! What’s going on with my Arrowhead Allusion?? Soil is not dry, I’ve been watering whenever it seems he needs it. I’m not using tap water- just water mixed with fertilizer as i found to be suggested. A few leaves are browning. I thought it was just the normal death and birt at first but it seems to be worse. #ArrowheadPlant

What’s up with my Arrowhead’s curled leaf? Is this a new leaf? Or is this a sign that something isn’t going right and it’s unhappy? It looks new…

What’s happening here? #Syngonium My daughter bought this syngonium at a box store and gave me a cutting. I never really typed it because it’s the kind you see everywhere. It has the pinkish veins running through a light green leaf. But I just watered it and saw this new leaf? Her plant isn’t doing this. And they’re all on the same stalk. Is this a sign it’s not getting enough light? (Note the plant card shows a distance from a light source, but I have 3 very large west windows in my living room. The other plants are ok, at least they haven’t produced leaves with other variations 🤷🏼♀️) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #itrunsinthefamily #GregGang #GreggersSupportingGreggers
