How to fertilize Carrion flower

To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Carrion flower after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I think I’m murdering him Is he too dry? I overwatered him so I let him fry out, now he’s completely dry and shriveled up… but when I water him he gets all soggy and mushy! Help! I don’t know what he needs. He used to be so beautiful and now he’s just a stem. Parts of him keeps getting yellow and falling off. What should I do? #CarrionFlower

The Bear Pot/Lifesaver Cactus saga is finally over! My dad was able to drill a drainage hole into the bottom of the bear pot yesterday. The hole isn't perfectly centered. He tried, but it was sooooo difficult to get the hole started that it got off center haha. I'm not sure what kind of tough clay this thing is made out of 😹 Either way, I'm just thankful there's drainage now! When I dumped out the old soil, I noticed they had put a bunch of pebbles at the bottom of the pot. I'm so glad I didn't water this poor thing. He was due for a watering yesterday so that's when we made the hole, repotted in fresh succulent soil, and watered with SuperThrive-infused water to prevent shock. He's already looking perkier! ☺️ #SuccerForSucculents #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #LifesaverCactus #CactusClique #Cactus #CarrionFlower #potheads #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PLANTMAFIA

Hey y'all! I wanted to show off my new succulent! It's a Huernia Zebrina. Also known as a Lifesaver Plant and a Carrion Flower (since it blooms a beautiful, yet smelly flower in the Summer). It's a meaningful plant because mine and my husband's last name is Carrion haha. Also, my dad got me this plant, so it's even more special. I saw the plant shop near his job posted on their Instagram that they received a fresh shipment. I asked him if he wouldn't mind snagging me one since he's in the area, and he did! He even surprised me with the pot! It's too cute. Unfortunately, however, it does NOT have a drainage hole. And my dad, unaware of these things of course, let the shop repot the plant directly into the pot. I really don't want to repot him again since he was just repotted yesterday (I don't want to traumatize him), plus the pot is super adorable. Do you guys have any tips on watering this little fella without a drainage hole? I really want him to thrive since he's so special, and I would love to see him bloom in the Summer! The pot feels like clay or terracotta. It doesn't feel or look coated or glazed. Additionally, a little piece had fallen off the plant and my dad handed me the little piece. It had a healthy root attached, so I potted him in his own teeny tiny terracotta pot! My dad said that all of the Lifesaver Plants at that shop were falling apart, and that he managed to get the best one. I'm so thankful for my dad and for this new little plant. And I'm so thankful for this community for allowing me to show off new plant babies all the time and for offering helpful and thoughtful advice 💚 Sorry for the long post.
