To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your String of Tears after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Pearls, Tears, or mixed? When I bought my plant I thought it was #StringOfPearls (1st pic), then I started questioning if it was #StringOfTears (2nd pic same plant), NOW… I’m starting to believe it’s mixed (3rd pic same plant) 🤔….what do you think???

Hi there everybody. So I am not sure if this is a thing or not, but it is working for me, so might as well share it in case it comes in handy for anybody else. I've recently bought a string of tears just a few weeks ago, and it was in a pretty sad condition. The leaves were so tiny and skinny, and the soil was soaked in water. Even though the plant was flowering, I have decided to repot it, taking into consideration its current condition. Now, every single article and video I ever checked out always mentioned that these plants have a very shallow root system. But my stubborn self decided to go for a taller plastic transparent pot and try out to see how it goes. I immediately started to doubt my decision. Fast forward two weeks later, I have started to notice my string of tears looking happier. I can see lots of new growth, the leaves are plump, beautiful, bright green, and the best part: the pot is transparent, so I always have a good sight of the humidity of the soil, and I also noticed new roots that travel all the way to the bottom of the pot. So anyway, hope this post can help someone with their #stringoftears. #succulent #succulentlovers.

String of tears 💔 Is this done for? When it arrived, it had a pretty bad mealybug infestation and I used alcohol on it. This is what the stems look like now. I have since repotted it. Will it recover? Will I be able to propagate any part of this? I’m so sad over this 😩 #stringsofthings #StringOfTears #StringOfPearls #HappyPlants

I've been drying to use this pot for months but I haven't finished painting it. I'm such a perfectionist and keep making these Itty bitty oopsie doodles on it so I put off on using it until FINALLY I said screw it. I'll just fix it with a plant in it. I hate the lips 1000% and those are the first to be fixed but omg I love it #krunchytime #thunderdome #plantmafia #greggang #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #artsandplants #succulentlove #plantaddict #planttherapy #happyplants #stringoftears #succulentlove #greggang #plantstash #plantshelfie
