Finding light for dragon tail in your home
a window
dragon tail may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of dragon tail in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize dragon tail
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your dragon tail after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Is this scale?? I noticed this lead felt sticky and when I took a closer look, I saw this underneath! I didn’t know what it was but I freaked out, chopped off the leaf, rinsed the whole plant thoroughly, and sprayed it down with Sexy Plant Juice. Then after a few minutes, I wiped down the leaves.i checked the rest of the plant and didn’t see anymore. I also checked the neighboring plants and didn’t see any on them either. Did I overreact?? #PestControl #pestID #PestsAndPlants #MiniMonstera #RhaphidophoraTetrasperma #PlantID

Yay my mini monstera finally put out a new leaf! All the leaves it came with from my mom’s house was chomped by her cats so I was worried there might not be enough left, but we got not only one new leaf, but looks like another’s one the way! I’m so proud 🥹 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #TheWateringHole

Vines dying! #MiniMonstera lost its biggest vine. it turned yellow, then brown, then I clipped it. The rest of the vines look amazing, but I'm worried because most of them are growing from the dead one below where I cut! the end where I cut it is yellowing, too. The soil is moist but mist into I find says this is due to underwatering. help?!

How do I keep her from falling over without packing her soil too much? I just bought a beautiful #MiniMonstera from my local plant shop. Despite being held up by a stake she had completely fallen over in her pot. I asked an employee about caring for her and she said to make sure her soil is really loose to allow for better drainage. I want to make sure she gets the drainage she needs while still having enough support to stay standing. What should I do?

I accidentally broke off a vine.. I should have just kept it on and let it heal itself.. I learned a lot lol well I am trying to propagate and clearly it is not doing well.. turning brown and yellow. What should I do? #MiniMonstera

This is Mochii, my mini monstera, a “rare monstera minima” supposedly. She no longer looks like this 😰😭 every last leaf has yellowed and fallen off, the root system is long and relatively strong, all that’s left is a nub. What am I doing wrong w her? ☹️😭 help my baby! Those are leaves that fell off that stem but they were still green-yellow so I stuck em in there. I’m going to pull them out today and place them in my compost tray #MonsteraMystery #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #MonsteraMob #Monstera

This is a self watering pot . I got this plant on sale because it was dying and I’ve never tried saving a plant .. It’s like the plant is falling apart still. how do I save it ?? #MiniMonstera

Yellow stem What does it mean for my mini monstera to have a yellow stem? Is it game over? Should I propagate?
-
Mimi monstera losing leaves? My mini monstera keeps losing its old leaves - the new leaves have good fenstrations, but maybe it’s still not enough light? I also know I should change it to a moss pole; the lattice was a failed experiment and I suspect was a proponent of the leaves coming off. I’m wondering if I should just cut and prop and basically start over? #HappyPlants #PropagationStation #RhaphidophoraTetrasperma

Help me welcome my latest addition! She's gorgeous and fits right in with everyone 🪴Here's the catch: I won't be BUYing plants for a while after this.. according to my budget, I shouldn't even be alive right now 🤭🤭 Either way, what's done is done. So look! #minimonstera #monstera #certifiedplantaddict #planttherapy #newplants
