I literally don't do anything special to care for her. She loves it in my bedroom, close to a South facing window, and under a grow light. I'm in North Louisiana so I do have to water her a little more due to climate. Such a sweet baby! (YES, I called my plant a sweet baby.š¤Ŗ) #redmaranta #houseplants #myplant #myplantaesthetic #plantsmakemehappy #plantlife #planty #plantvibes #plantlover #wateringplants #plantmom #plantgang #plantparent #plantparentcommunity #plantday #plantlady #plantladyisthenewcatlady #plantlove #planthoarder #plantcare #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants

Growth and pruning? Hi, newbie here. I just planted a Red Push Pistache in June and the tree has had new growth at the base. Itās December in Las Vegas and Iām wondering if/how I should prune the tree. Other sites mention early winter for pruning, but what does that mean? Itās a 15 gallon tree.

Iām going to post a few of my plants Iām struggling to find consistent data for proper care/schedules (as rough guidelines of course) and was just hoping maybe someone could point me in the direction of the following so I can familiarize myself with what these guys need/like to help my babies flourish and be in their optimal health states š¤ Iām particularly #seekingadvice on the best watering methods, directional placements or distances from windows (and WHICH ones) they would thrive in, and ESPECIALLY seeking some guidance for #fertilizing my herd. Iāve got some plants Iāve heard enjoy weekly feeding, while others said annually & Iām not gonna lie itās overwhelming to spend that amount of time trying to do the research on each individual plant and hope I trust the right source. #Currentlyusing #MiracleGro Tropical soil for indoor plants, with the indoor liquid fertilizer but am confused about HOW to use it because I swore it said pump it directly in to soil. Iāve also resorted to some of those fertilizer sticks as a more consistent source while trying to figure out my herdās needs, but Iām fearful of causing more harm

Is there any hope? I rescued a red prayer plant from the clearance section of Lowe's a couple days ago. It split into two plants without me trying, so I planted them separately. One had healthy leaves but very few roots (Allen) and one (Dak) had one small okayish leaf and one with brown spots, but a more established root system. I cut out the brown spot, just in case. Dak is now dying and Allen is thriving. I'm new to prayer plants. At what point should I give up on Dak? I know prayer plants can be drama queens so I don't want to get rid of him if he can be revived! #redprayerplant #prayerplants
