How to fertilize Polaskia chichipe
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Polaskia chichipe after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

To behead or not to behead? That is the question I bought this Polaskia Chichipe a few days ago. She has a big deep cut at the base of the cactus. It looks calloused over and she has strong roots so I think she could be fine without beheaded and replanting. However, the cut goes over half way through the cactus so I’m worried there isn’t enough undamaged tissue to properly supply the plant with enough nutrients. What do you think I should do? #polaskiachichipe #Chichipe #CactusClique #help

What other plant parents say
this plant is very easy to take care of and doesn’t need much attention. sometimes i wont be home for up to a week and a half and this plant does fine with no water. this is a good starter plant that i recommend to anyone who doesn’t normally have good luck with their plants:)
