Why are the leaves translucent?? #Philodendron Last night I sprayed a DIY neem oil spray, I got the recipe from Paige Tailon on TikTok, wiped it down with a microfiber towel and this morning I realized it did get about 10-20 minutes of my grow light before I remembered to turn it offā¦. but now in the sunlight the leaves look translucent. Donāt know whether I burned all the leaves, if I should chop them all off and start over, everything is fine and Iām overthinking it lol, etc etcā¦. Help!

Hi!! #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #plantcorner Hi! Broke teenager here, I bought my #whitebirdsofparadise #plant, Susan, in the sales section of my garden center for Ā£4.50, and she needs a little help. She has crispy holes in her leaves, mushy areas, brown spots, and missing bits from almost all her leaves ā¹ļø. I'm worried that if I cut off the damaged areas, she will be naked. Any advice? Since I've brought her home she has blessed me with a beautiful pink leaf, which looks healthy, but a few days ago formed a big greenish-brown spot (as pictured). Is this normal? Do I need to just wait for her to grow more leaves then chop off the dead ones? Will she keep making leaves with weird areas if I don't find a solution? I know she is quite big for her pot, maybe that's the problem? I've been watering her regularly. If so, should I repot her now, or wait until spring? Help!! Thank you for reading this far, and thank you so so much for any advice!!!

(Repost) What is Twilight? 'Rojo Congo', POO, 'Red Sun', etc? I made a repost because I was almost certain my original post was buried, plus I did some more digging to try to find out what the heck Twilight was. In this repost, each image has a number (so it becomes a lot easier to discuss). In the text, I will add a number in parenthesis to determine which picture to refer to. My closest guess was 'Rojo Congo', but I don't think it's fully accurate (See 5 for 'Rojo Congo' description). You see, Twilight seemingly wants to climb or crawl because there are aerial roots extending from the stem into the ground, maintaining a mostly horizontal (2) shape rather than upright ('Rojo Congo' trait, 5). Plus, her leaves are arrowhead-shaped (1 and 3) like the 'Rojo Congo' (5). To add to difficulty, her new leaf isn't unfurled completely yet, so we cannot be sure on color (4). What do you guys think? I'm already quite stumped. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #plantcorner #plantlove #iloveplants #newgrowth #planttlc #greggang #adhdplantlovers #plantid #whatismyplant #philodendron #blushingphilodendron #philodendronprinceoforange #philodendronredsun #philodendronrojocongo

#Philodendron Hello! Just got this little guy <2 weeks ago. Greg idād as a Brasil variety but I donāt think thatās right. It seemed dry when I opened it from shipment so I watered it, per the instructions with it. Greg is recommending watering 3/4 cup every 6 days. I just watered it today on that schedule. It looks worse than it did a few days ago. I thought these were supposed to be hard to kill! š¬ If I put it by the window it gets a few hours of sunlight a day. I moved it onto my kitchen table last week to see if it was getting too much sun.

My plant came waterlogged. Is it salvageable? #Philodendron

Well, here it is! And the results are a little disappointing. My philodendron ring of fire was blooming and it took 20+days from growth of bloom to actual opening of the bloom. As for how it smells, it doesnāt have a smell, AT ALL. Iām a little upset about that. But itās all good, still pretty. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantLove #FloweringPlants #julesplants
