How to fertilize Philodendron venulosum
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Philodendron venulosum after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I have two new leaves that unfurled recently on my pink princess. They are both brownish and one looks like it has been chomped through. I don’t have any pets or children that would take a bite. What is going on? #Philodendron

Is this normal for her? If not then what am I doing wrong?

Hello new to this community. Unfortunately the “diagnose” feature doesn’t work or non existent. Can someone please help me with my plant? Got some browning going on here. Thanks in advance.

Philo ID I ended up with this gorgeous lad because I keep house for old people and they love to give me things they don't want/can't care for. It was 3 sad leaves at the start of September and here we are today. This is the first variegated leaf and I'm not sure what variety it is. Greg and Google are pretty sure it's a Birkin, I just wanted to confirm with humans 😜

Imperial green philo unfurling multiples? Is my imperial green philodendron having triplets?? I thought it was one leaf that was coming and about to unfurl, but I checked tonight; one has indeed popped out but it looks like there are two more trying to come out too! Is this normal??? Zöld is a rehab plant. I’ve only had him since early September. This would’ve been the first leaf he popped out. #Philodendron #HappyPlants #LeafPorn #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PhiloFlock #NewGrowth

Philo newbie, what is he trying to tell me? I got this guy (among others) from a client when it was 3 depressed looking leaves at the start of August. He loves the kitchen window and has exploded. Are all these aerial roots signs he needs a bigger pot, just a Thing they do, or something else? TIA! #philodendron #philoflock #plantsmakepeoplehappy #planthelp #newgrowth #rootporn

In your experience how is this lighting situation? It’s a southeast window it only gets direct light for 3 hours in the morning which is filtered by a sheer curtain and paper on my window for the harsh rays. The rest of the day the sheer curtain is open. #Philodendron

What is the best way to make this guy thrive, is in my office #happyplants #Philodendron

Hey y’all! Happy Friday! #FreshLeafFriday I wanted to show off my pretty new rug in my Plant Room! I think it looks so awesome and “really ties the room together.” IYKYK 😊 Also, my #Philodendron Paraiso Verde is getting too big! He’s going to be a floor plant soon! I’m very pleased to see that the #Graptoveria Opalina that I had to chop a couple months ago has grown five new heads 🤗 Look at her go! And I just had to share my babies, Mia and Cody, enjoying the makeover the plant room received this week 🐾🪴💕 #PetsAndPlants #PetsOfGreg #DogsOfGreg #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner #PlantShelfie #PhiloFlock #SucculentSquad #GregGang #babevila
