Green Princess
About Green Princess
Philodendrons grow aerial roots that grip the bark of trees, allowing them to grow over 20 feet tall! Their leaves change shape as they climb and can grow larger than a dinner plate. Fossils show Philodendrons growing as far back as 30 million years ago when South America was still connected to Antarctica! ❄️

Finding light for Green Princess in your home
a window
Green Princess can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Green Princess in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Green Princess
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Green Princess after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

ID help please! App says this is a blushing philodendron but I'm not sure it is. It is 100% a self-heading Philodendron. Leaves come in pinkish orange and mature to dark green with a lovely thin pink leaf edge. The leaf 'spears' (the bits that produce the new leaves) are bright red and pretty much stay that way. There are smaller parts of the plant that are just green at the base but the largest portion has maintained the lovely reddish coloring since I got it last year. It was in a 'mystery' pack of plants so it didn't come with any ID. I adore it, whatever it is, but I'd love to know what I have. You can find pics of it from the time it was a baby until now on its page :) Thanks!
