Failed leaves #Philodendron I am at a loss with my philo melano. It has several failed leaves and I'm not sure why. It sits about a foot from west window and a bit off to side so not getting direct sun. Any ideas? I haven't had a new leaf in probably 6 months and the last one that actually developed is smaller than previous ones. Btw I live in Arizona, so not sure if maybe it's my dry air.

Isn't he gorgeous!? š±š±š Yes, I have an addiction. I was at Lowe's this morning and saw a pitcher plant (in comments) and wanted to get it for my boyfriend but didn't. We were on the phone a couple of hours ago talking about it and I could tell he was bummed (even though he said he couldn't afford it right now) so I went back to see if it was still there. Of course it wasn't š£ Then I saw this beautiful boy and I couldn't resist š³š³š š¤£ #philodendron #happyplants #thewateringhole #whiteknightphilodendron

Thrips! Today I noticed tiny black specks moving around on my golden croc philo, knocked one off and captured a pic under a microscope, and google confirmed itās an adult thrip! š©š©š© Iāll hit it with the neem spray #TheWateringHole taught me and maybe alternate with Cap Jacks weekly. Iāve been battling thrip larva on some other plants but finding adults is a first. š Here are my questions: 1) I counted maybe 5, definitely less than 10 adults. All on one plant. How quickly can this infestation explode??? 2) I know Iām supposed to quarantine it, but I really donāt have the space. How far can these things fly? Would the opposite side of a large room be far enough? #thrips #PestControl #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SlinkyFivespot8 #help
