Is there a way to make it not grow like this? It's very possible it's just how it grows and I should let it be, but I'm just not a fan of how it looks. Please excuse the butter container, my cat pushed it off the shelf last night to get into the window and the pot it was on shattered #monstera

I finally got one of my DREAM PLANTS. I was at Trader Joeās today and saw this absolute beautiful Thai constellation monstera for 12$!!!!! They had other ones with fenestrations already but they werenāt really healthy at all, so I went for this younger healthier one. I canāt wait to see its journey! Iām going to let it settle in my room for a bit before replacing the soil mix, it came in just peat moss, so I plan on replacing it with a very chunky and breathable mix. Did I have the space for this plant⦠noy really. does moving furniture around create space? Absolutely. #Monstera #PlantHaul

Severe gnat infestation Repotted my monstera deliciosa about 2 months ago and it's infested. It's a glazed clay pot with drainage, soil is a mix of miracle grow moisture control potting soil with added pine bark, perlite, and sand. Never had issues with this mix before. I've tried watering it- and all my other plants that are slowly getting infested with peroxide, mosquito bits "tea", spray them constantly with neem oil, mint and rosemary oil, all of them have a layer or diatomaceous earth on the top, yellow sticky traps, and I have blue light traps all around my house. I cannot bottom water since it's way too heavy and big to lift, and I water it every 3-4 weeks. Nothing is working. HELP!
