How to fertilize Carolina Holly
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Carolina Holly after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Winterberry Holly I bought a healthy Winterberry Holly two weeks ago. We planted it and watered it a few days later. We broke the root ball and planted it correctly. The leaves drooped a few days later and started turning black. I did remove the bottom branches touching the ground. Today it rained some and almost all the leaves fell off. The berries are still there. Is it dead? It has a one year warranty. 😕
