Finding light for dragon fruit in your home
dragon fruit may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves š, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of dragon fruit in your home š”.
How to fertilize dragon fruit
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil itās likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your dragon fruit after it doubles in size or once a yearāwhichever comes first.

Dragon fruit cactus looking rather sad... My stepdaughter's dragon fruit cactus is not looking so hot. He just relocated to our house from her mom's house because she saw me starting to get some plants and she thinks our house has better light. Hedgie is wilted-looking in spots, maybe a bit leggy? And brown and shriveled in other places. He's in a plastic nursery liner inside of his cute metal cachepot so he's got drainage but I'm fairly certain it's not sufficient, especially since he's still in the original nursery potting mix rather than a good succulent/cactus mix. Is he just suffering from being too wet a bit too often or is anything else possibly wrong with him as well? What should we do for him?

Graft is dying. Can I remove just the graft or will I have to discard te entire plant. I have 2 of them but only this one has chosen to die. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #cactusclique #succulentsquad #jodisplace

What is happening. Hi guys, I bring updates on little Rick's condition.... There were two little cacti, but it is with great sadness that I announce that the smallest one is no longer with us... ššš» (it turned mushy/shriveled/dark in colour) Now, I assume that the problem was overwatering, unfortunately. Perhaps the drainage wasn't ideal, and then the bigger one would eventually meet the same tragic fate š... but I decided to leave him be, as so far he hadn't shown signs of being unwell. Since then, however, he does look a little droopy, has darkened a bit and feels soft, but it seems that he started to root?? š¤Øš¤ I don't remember seeing that last I checked and he was already doing less than peachy. So what do I do now šš Additional info: When I watered him (a good while ago) I used fertilizer; His soil is completely dry at this stage; he's been getting a great deal of sunlight; not long after I brought him home I dipped his feet into rooting powder (that was before the passing of the little one, which never rooted) @ILoveMyPlants @OpenheartedHoya #help #cactusclique #plantgraveyard #dragonfruit #plantsmakepeoplehappy #greggang
