Finding light for haworthia in your home
a window
haworthia may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of haworthia in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize haworthia
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your haworthia after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

This lil guy has given me 2 blooms back to back, like literally right after the first stalk died off, this guy popped right up after 🥹 I sure hope this a good thing?! 😩💚 #Haworthia #HaworthiaBayeri #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #BloomingSuccs

New growth is long and skinny. Hi everyone, I need help. I’m not too good at keeping succulents alive but I really really try because I love them! Well, I have been seeing this new skinny-leggy growth on these top leaves and can’t figure out why it’s doing this. And it looks like more will be appearing. How do reverse this or fix it to get them thick like the others?

Haworthia cooperi’s stuck? Hello plant people 🪴 my H. cooperi is doing nothing, again. I was told some time ago that she would start to do something after summer’s dormancy, but now it’s almost winter time here and nothing seems to be happening — except perhaps for a very tiny growth of one of her babies, but nothing exceptional. She’s placed always indoor in the same spot, right near a north-east facing window. Any advice from experts? I’m absolutely astonished by her refusal to give a hint of.. well, something. 😳 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #Haworthia

New babies on my Aloe ‘Firebird’, a gift from one of @vvvelo ‘s giveaways, last year. ☺️ (photo 1) Two new babies on my Haworthia Limifolia (photos 2-4), I’m gonna try to repot her soon, because I think her & her pups may need more space 😊. #Haworthia #SucculentSquad #Succulent #SucculentLove #Succulents #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #GrowingSuccs #PlantAddict #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #PlantLove #FirebirdAloe #Aloe

This is typically how far my plants are away from my windows...too far? too close? Just want to make sure I'm giving the right amount of light. #echeveria #haworthia #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy

I know I’ve been posting a lot guys.. but I finally had time to do some plant chores, which in turn means plant pictures for Greg. 😊✌🏻🌱 •these are all my Haworthias, I keep them inside in a window sill that gets some morning light. They seem to do pretty well there. Ever since I started growing succuIents I have loved this species! They are so easy going, low maintenance, tolerant of pretty much anything, & all while having so many unique & eye catching varieties to choose from. Kinda reminds of Crassula (another favorite species of mine for the same reasons). 2. Crowded Haworthia 3. Haworthia ‘mirabilis’ 4. Zebra haworthia 5.
