Finding light for Goldfish Plant in your home
Goldfish Plant may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Goldfish Plant in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Goldfish Plant
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Goldfish Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hi plant lovers! My goldfish plant has never bloomed flowers. Can anybody help me with what I may not be doing right? #GuppyPlant

What the fuzzy heck? Hi #happyplants, #plantsmakepeoplehappy, #petsandplants (haha), & #pestcontrol I'm not 100% certain what this is, or if it is animal (like as in an egg sac if some sort), or vegetal/fungal. It only showed up on this one leaf of my goldfish plant (which I removed promptly), and only after having been moved outside into the dappled shade of a very large maple tree. Guesses? Could it be an infestation of mealies about to explode that I perhaps removed just in the nick of time? 🧐🤔😣😵💫😵

Dry soil and leggy #GuppyPlant #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #GrowLights Hi All, this goldfish plant is thirsty! Have had her about 7 months. I noticed the soil was dry using the moisture stick 3 or 4 days ago so I watered her. The moisture reader said yesterday that she was dry again, I probed to the base of the pot. So I watered her yesterday again. Checked her today and the soil is dry again!! She has a grow light which I was using for 9h a day until a few days ago when I thought the light would be making her dry. So she only gets 3 hours a day now. Also, she’s quite leggy and was more so until I pruned her about a month ago. A few weak blooms previously but none atm. Any advice gratefully received please 🙏

Weird White Spots Hey! I moved this plant to my office and within a week it started growing these white spore things! I’ve never seen this on this plant before. Any ideas on what it is or what to do? This is a goldfish plant. (without its goldfish… bloom already!)

No Flowers for Goldfish Plant? This is my mom’s goldfish plant, that Greg has named Duke. He is right in the corner of our kitchen so he gets quite a bit of indirect light from our patio door as you can see in the picture. My mom wants to know if there’s any specific reason her plant isn’t flowering? It isn’t getting any buds at all for flowers. Any ideas would be very appreciated! #GoldfishPlant #HappyPlants #PlantsAreAmazing #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner #PLANTMAFIA

How do I get my goldfish plant to flower? When I brought it home from the farmers market last year, it had 4 or 5 blooms. The plant is growing and looks healthy, but it will not bloom anymore. Thoughts?
