Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Graptosedum 'Ghosty' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Look what I got! You were right it’s a really cool book. Lots of good information. I’m not sure I want to do decorating with succulents, but who knows. I might be taking a pottery class so I could make some terra-cotta pots in the future. Then I might think about the decorating part of this book. #TheWateringHole tags: @MarionsOasis @Just1More @Sassylimey @Ms.Persnickety @TidyTigerpear @DreamMachine @BEsucculent @kaleena @MamaLinne @debbiedo @BonusTaraire85 @Idplantthat @mtplantlady @BabeVila @RefinedSandwort @LaLaslovlies @FitBrowallia @JenniferNoel @CutePolypremum @AC73LoveCats @SweetAzurebluet @IWantThatPlant @ILoveMyPlants @princesspitstop @Jho @Dawgfreak @Luckeecharm1 @MockingJay @HolyLacealoe @stephonicle @Ponytailmom @SunflowerSunset @PrizedShadscale @Popcornjoness @BuffCaperspurge @Preciousplants1 @baobab_zig @GreenPurpose @antsinurplants @LucidAgapanthus @ShadowBoxrBaby @Forbes57 @TRose @CactusAdjacent # #succulents #succulentLove #sedum #echeveria #kalanchoe #aloe #crassula #euphorbia #cotyledon #dudleya #Bredasdorp #agave #simpervivum #Salicornia #hatiora #epiphyllum #portulacaria #Austrocylindropuntia #graptopetalum #graptosedum #aizoaceae #aristaloe #lithops #ariocarpus #pachyphytum #curio #gasteria #tephrocactus #faucaria #frangipangi #othonna #Anacampseros #sesuvivum #dracanea #haworthia #stapelia #curio #ceropegia #senecio #aeonium #Zamioculcas

Off Looking Leaves Kind of newish and not too knowledgeable about plants so maybe someone can help: Not sure if it's visible but some of the leaves look off-I'm not sure what's up with them. I've had this plant for about 9 months and they have been like that for the majority of the time l've had the plant. Any suggestions as to what's up with them or how to fix it? #Graptosedum #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #

Fertilizer #Graptosedum Hello all. Stumbled unto been a #plantdad when walked into a Home Depot and saw a cool display of #succulents. Even though ive not been able to keep anything alive i figured why not. So took home along with succulent soil. Transplanted and lo and behold they are doing great. They grown at least 1/2 an inch wide and tall. Is been 8 weeks since. Should i be adding fertilizer? If so. Any suggestions on what i can use in the US? How can i measure the mg or liquid formats to know what right or not? Im finding way more joy than i expexted when i bought them. Just want to keep them happy and growing. Thanks for any suggestions. Here is one of them as i can seem to find a way to add more. He only had 4 leaves when first planted.

Best time for shade cloths? Hey #succulentsquad, when's the best time to put up a shade cloth? It's really starting to heat up in my area, and I got a 50% shade cloth for the summer. The UV index has also been fairly high, and it's not going down anytime soon. Most of my succulents have been outside all year so they're used to the weather fluctuations. #succulentlove #succulents #echeveria #graptosedum #graptopetalum #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #plantmafia #planttherapy

Hey #Greggers it’s been a while since I have posted an update on my #Succulents so here’s what’s new in my oasis 🪴 My graptosedum Cali sunset is soo close to blooming, I can’t wait to see these star like white flowers 🥹 I’m very happy because this is my first bloom that formed with my care, instead of me buying it with the bloom stalk already established. Pachyphytum ‘Aquamarine’- she has grown a lot, even though she drops leaves sometimes she is very healthy and happy, she has gotten so full & tall since I got her last summer. 🌱 Calico hearts- I moved her back under my grow lights, instead of a southern window, because I want her to have those goregous stress colors/speckles. She is a favorite plant/succulent of mine, im so proud that I’ve kept her looking good & over all healthy! She has some new growth as usual 🙌🏻 Echeveria ‘pink diamond’- she has been doing alright, not as good as she could be but we will get there 💕 Anacampseros retusa- violet and her baby are slowly getting bigger they aren’t as fast of growers in comparison to their cousin anacampseros sunrise 🌄 but still just as pretty 😊 #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #NewGrowth #GrowingSuccs #GrowLights #BlooingSuccs #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #Echeveria #Anacampseros #Pachyphytum #Graptosedum #CalicoHearts

Updates 🌱💚✨ ‘Franny’ Echeveria PVN- she has finally started showing signs of a full recovery, from temperature shock, and dehydration. I had to remove most her leaves, & water her regularly quite a bit to get her back to herself. But I’m so proud & glad I was able to save her! She is looking good 😊 ‘Kermit’ Pillow Foot Plant- after repotting in bonsai jack, he looks better then ever and has filled out a lot more, with lots of new growth & new leaves. I love how the young leaves look. So cute & also the stress colors 😍 he is much happier. ‘Cali’ 🧡 graptosedum Cali sunshine- the flower stalk is getting bigger & she is steadily growing offsets, I’m so happy with her, & it’s safe to say she is happy too! 🥰 #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #succulent #BloomingSuccs #GrowingSuccs #GrowLights #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #Echeveria #PillowFeetCrinkleLeafPlant #Graptosedum

Cleo isn’t faring too well I just repotted her. I’m not sure what’s wrong. When I got her she was full and 3 separate stems and doing great. This is my only one struggling. At first I thought it was being overwatered so I backed off. Then I thought it was being underwatered cause there was no change. She just keeps eating all of her leaves. I was able to start a couple leaves in a prop tray just in case I lose her. But I don’t know how to help her.

Some plant pictures from today. Update on my bloom stalk that’s growing on my graptosedum Cali sunshine, 🌼 •sedeveria dark elf, it almost looks like a star the way the leaves are growing. 😎⭐️ •perle Von nurnberg, is finally starting to perk up after its repot, & losing quite a few leaves… 🥲 •silver dollar jade hasn’t been to thrilled about its repot either, but does have some new growth. 🌱 •euphorbia ferox, has new growth, I’m thinking about repotting soon. it has some kind of spots on it, that may be a fungal issue but I’m not 100% sure… anyways I’ve been treating it with fungicide when I water. So maybe that will stop it from getting worse.. I’m not sure. 🌵🪴🌱🎄 #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #BloominSuccs #Succulent #CactusClique #Jade #Echeveria #Euphorbia #Sedeveria #Graptosedum #NewGrowth #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #GrowLights

I know it’s been a while! I’m fighting fungus knats & seasonal depression 😆🤭❄️ but I’m here to report good news! I have some happy growers in my oasis still, & im grateful as ever to see that I still have a green thumb and problem solving skills! Here’s what we have today…. -Calico hearts 🖤 so glad these have been doing good, I have since repotted her (& her baby that isn’t pictured yet) and they are both doing great, and have new growth. -2&3 Graptosedum California sunshine ☀️ these have been super easy ever since I got them and continue to put off new growth after any leaf drop. They are super resilient in my eyes and have even done well in the cold! - 4 Graptoveria opalina 🌈 super plump and healthy she’s also been super good to me all summer & even now. She’s so perfect 🥺 - 5 tiger jaws, even though he has some red mite looking things he is still puttingg off new growth and doing his best 🤞🏻😳 (don’t worry I willl be addressing the bug issue asap) and yes he has sun scars but he has managed to still look and grow his best. These plants all show me what resiliency can be, and remind me to keep going even when the sun isn’t shining in my world 🤞🏻🌱 I hope everyone is getting through the cold weather, (if you’re experiencing that, if not I greatly envy you 😆) #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #CalicoHearts #Graptoveria #Graptosedum #Faucaria #AndromischusTriflorus #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #PlantShelfie #wintergrowth #Succulents

Should I water it? The leaves are getting thin/wrinkly, but I just repotted so I'm confused as to if I should or not. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #succulentlove
