How to fertilize Ficus Lyrata Bush
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Ficus Lyrata Bush after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Heyyy! I absolutely know I’m going to forget to post in the morning, so I’m getting it in early for #FreshLeafFriday (are those still a thing? I’ve been so out of the loop) 🪴 Without further ado: new leaves (first one open; second one still furled) on my burgundy #Ficus. These are the first new leaves in a LONG time—it did not get enough light in that tiny apartment I just left! Now it has front row seats to the sunrise every morning 🌅 Then, we have my rehabilitated variegated #StringOfPearls, which a friend gave to me in a sad, shriveled little vine with one lonely root. Now look at it go! 😊 Bonus pics to use all 5 spaces (why not?): watered all my growing babies and #Propagation s this morning. I love these cute 1” clear plastic pots! They are perfect for propagating! And a new #PlantShelfie in my bedroom! 💗🌿 Happy pre-Friday, LOL #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #FicusGang #PlantTherapy #babevila #PLANTMAFIA #PlantCorner #GregGang

Update on the #RubberPlant #RubberTree, instead of chopping and propping I used some aluminum wire to give the branches some strength.👍🏽

What to do? My fiddle leaf is long and lanky and has recently started browning around the edges of several leaves. There is a new small leaf coming in. I really have no idea what to do. Please help! Thank you. #FiddleLeafFig

How much water should I give my rubber plant? (Any answers would be much appreciated!) #RubberPlant

Good morning plant friends, especially ficus moonshine and ficus plant lovers! Just wanted to share my gorgeous Ficus Moonshine BUSH with so much different variegation (in my bedroom under a Sansi 24 Watt Grow Light 💡) 😍 It started out as 2 seperate tiny little 3-4 inch bushes, one of which grew new baby branches and mini leaves. I recently combined them together when they outgrew both their pots to make it bushier. Now in a 7 inch pot — soon to be a floor plant and eventually a very colorful bushy tree — next to my Ficus Tineke Tree/Bush! Keeping it closer to the light for now to help the baby leaves 🌱 grow bigger. 💚 #ficusmoonshine #ficus #variegation #ficusmoonshinebush #FicusGang #FicusShivereana #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #GrowLights #PetsAndPlants #Variegated #PlantTherapy #HappyPlants

What am I doing wrong?? Too much light then too little light. Too much water… but somehow also too little?? I’m so confused 😩 Please help! (Is it possible that the pot is messing with it? I’m almost certainly doing something wrong but I have a theory that something is up with this pot as well)
