Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Natasha Weeping Fig after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Browning leaves Any idea what might be the problem? Could it be from cold? I moved not long ago my ficus into balcony and we had a few nights where temperature dropped a little. Nothing else changed. Also sprayed a few times with water(i know it does nothing but i like doing it might be water damage?) Any idea? Maybe someone had the same happen?

Algae looking layers under propagation tumblers I’ve done a few successful propagations before but recently with my second rubber cutting (first one was fine and a whole plant by itself now) is starting to get green at the base of the tumbler. Same with my pepper cuttings. Why does this algae like thing form in some jars and not the others? How can I stop this from happening until the stems form roots now ? the rubber plant looks a bit cleaner now as I changed the tumbler to give it a good wash #PropagationStation #Ficus #RubberPlant #Propagation

Advice with watering a range of plants! I think a range of my plants’ soil has become hydrophobic, but how can I be sure? They’re still growing new leaves (albeit slowly given the time of year) but when I use my moisture meter the reading keep coming out dry even if I sit them in water for an hour (water level is at least half way up the pot). Any advice on what to do? I’m struggling with half my plants such as my #calathea #aloevera #ficus #arrowhead #peacelily #minirose #watering #help

Terracotta pot? I know terracotta holds water and can leave soil damp for a while, or it can evaporate faster... do you think it's safe for a ficus Audrey to live in terracotta? #Ficus

Does anyone know what this is? #Ficus hiya! My ficus has some white spots showing up near the base and now my leaves are falling. This past summer it had been over watered by a relative visiting for a week and I had to cut back the leaves. The leaves started growing back around the end of August, and thought it was recovering. Is this fixable?
