Finding light for Flame Violet in your home

a window
Flame Violet may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Flame Violet in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Flame Violet

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Flame Violet after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Why is my waffle plant loosing all its leaves? I don’t over water. Should I repot it in a smaller pot? #WafflePlant #help

My violet flame seems to be dying. Is this a plant that curls up in cold weather or should I do something?

Meet PITA. She is a pain in the a55. She didn’t tell me she was a violet, she just shriveled up her leaves and laughed at me for touching her. I will never touch her again. #ohnooo

I love my “rare” plants!! I was doing a little digging, and I found out that my chicken gizzard may be having some blood leaf variations to it ( he has little red blotches like he’s been hurt on some leaves) Then, of course, I talked about my two calico plants and how they’re not particularly in Greg’s database just yet But I just found out that my flame violet is not actually a #FlameViolet ! She is actually a episcia pink acajou!! ( I highly recommend looking up photos. I am in awe every time I look at her.) did i mention shes pet friendly??? so I’m gonna give her a little spotlight before I head to work because MAN has she been growing undercover ! I thought she was gonna be very difficult, but she’s actually been one of my more patient plants and I’m so grateful considering I’m really bad at scheduling the baby plants watering schedule #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #Episcia #PlantTherapy

Drying leaves Hey guys, I just got this plant and some of the leaves are drying up... Does it need to be near a humidifier? I just put it in a larger pot and watered the soil. It's in bright indirect light.
