To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Casa De Ratas after it doubles in size or once a yearāwhichever comes first.

So I moved Bobby to a bigger pot. Lately Iāve been giving him an ice cube a week. He still looks the same as when I got him in June. Am I doing anything wrong or is that normal?

Late Night ~Cacti~ Appreciation Post, I had a chance to enjoy my #coffeewithsucculents this morning, & got to snap a few pictures of my cactus babies with morning dew š¬ļøāØ 1. Tephrocactus Geometricus, also known as the āDragon Egg Cactusā , has been *slowly* growing. Recently these darker, more pointy, & thick spines have emerged⦠Iām not sure what that means or why the spines have seemed to get thicker than the rest of the spines on the plant. Iām interested to know if that means anything at all, or if itās just a normal growth pattern. I havenāt changed anything as far as its environment. If anyone has any foresight on this please share! 2-4. Another close up of the Tephrocactus, & my BEAUTIFUL Arizona Rainbow Cactus⦠itās very apparent why it was named such.. itās became one of my favorites, I wanted one for so longgg, Iām so happy to own such a beautiful cultivar. The way the spines mimic a rainbow pattern vertically, as well as eyecactching aerial view in photo 3.. I just canāt get enough of this beauty. They also have stunning flowers which I hope I will eventually get to experience! šø 5. Variegated Corn Cob Cactus- it has really thrived since repotting in early spring, It looks to me it could already use another repot soon⦠problem is i have no bigger sized pots right now⦠(itās a bittersweet thing when your plants used to be super small, so all your pots are small, but now you have had them so long they have almost trippled in size, however you are lacking in pots that are appropriately sized for them now⦠š). Anyways it will be okay till I can make it to a nursery for my birthday (November). š I plan on treating myself to some plants and pots for my 25 birthdayā¦ š¤·š»āāļø #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #CactusClique #Cactus #Cacti #cacticollect #ArizonaRainbowCactus #CorncobCactus #TephrocactusGeometricus #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #GrowingSuccs #OutdoorGrowing #OutsidePlants #PlantLove

Best way to save my cactus? I've had this cactus for 10+ years. Multiple moves, zero issues with it. Fast forward to this last year and my bf has over-watered him, he turned brown, dry and started growing the healthy nub on top. Last pic is the before, the other 2 pics are as of today. I've cut the healthy top part so it can callus and be replanted. Second cutting was because we thought maybe we could save more as it is also mostly healthy. After we cut the healthy parts we noticed the rest of the cactus that has established roots still looks healthy inside so my bf replanted him in new soil in a bigger pot. We're both beginners so I am wondering if we're doing this right? Can we save the main part of the cactus we thought was dying? There are no mushy bits, it's just dry and brown. #Cactus #Beginner #LaceHedgehog

What are these tiny white spots on my rainbow hedgehog cactus? This is my first cactus. Maybe Iāve been overwatering it. Iām worried itās mold. We realized that there was no air circulation in the dining room after it was expanded, so Iāve been using a fan on them for the past couple months. I resolved the mold problem on regular-type soil for my other plants. This one never had mold and has cactus soil. Thereās more spots of this white than there were a few months ago. Thereās at least one pretty low on the plant, so I donāt think itās flowering Side question: will those spots where there used to be flowers heal? Also itās growing really misshapen⦠any advice? #Cactus #CactusClique This cactus had a sticker for Greg and got me on here.

Decided to plant my props in pots today, I was gonna try to wait till they dropped the mother leaf but I figured why not just go ahead and do it. I didnāt have enough pots for all of them but Iām glad I got some of them in their own home. Also some #BloomingSuccs updates 2. Graptoveria āDebbieā had started to grow what looked like flower stalks, but since has slowed down because of weather changes I think. Still not sure if they are flowers or not. 3&4. Moonstone flower is getting longer and bigger and it put off another flower recently! I hope I get to see them before it gets too cold! 5. Arizona rainbow cactus , I mean look at those colors! Just to pretty not to post š it looks small but believe me it has grown since I got it! They are slow growing but I donāt mind waiting š #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #SuccerForSucculents #CactusClique #Cactus #Cacti #ArizonaRainbowCactus #Graptoveria #Moonstone #GrowingSuccs #PropagationStation #Propagation #PropDontShop #NewGrowth
