Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Echeveria strictiflora var. Nova after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Is this mold? What's this white stuff on my Echeveria PVN's stem? Is it mold? I water it around every 2-3 weeks, and it's in Black Gold succulent soil, which everyone says is well-draining. It's under a grow light and used to be in a south-facing windowsill, but it wasn't doing too well, so I'm trying a growlight. The white stuff in the soil is perlite. #echeveria #succulentsquad #succulentlove #succulents

What went wrong? #Echeveria posh is a member of the Spice Girls and also a succulent. She started out so good and got really big and green and then got this white powder that I tried to wipe off with a towel and distilled water, but it’s kind of shriveled up what went wrong? Is there anything I can do to save it?

Espy? Espy?! WHAT IS HAPPENING! ESPY!!! 😱 I was gone for four days and I come back to this! Solutions, interpretations, anything?! She's near a window but it's warmish in her spot, and all the plants around her seem entirely unbothered...

Why is it turning yellow? May have been a little overwatered when first got it and it has been on a south west windowsill although not very sunny this time of year #Echeveria

Help i think i killed it! I have a succulent in my university dorm and just got back from winter break and it is not looking too good. I made sure to water it before I left and figured it would be fine since I usually watered it every 2 weeks and I was gone for 3. I was expecting it to need a little help when I got back but I wasn’t expecting it to be this bad. Is there any way I can save it? #PearlEcheveria #help
