How to fertilize Echeveria 'Sensation'

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Echeveria 'Sensation' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Can I save this echevaria? I have had this blue galaxy echevaria for a little over a year (when I started my plant parent journey). I was a beginner when I got it, and still am. I didn’t understand how fertilizer worked and how often a plant would need it, until downloading this app. Before getting this app I believe I overfertilized the plant and it became very leggy, or tall. Now all the leaves are drying up and falling off. Is there anyway to save it? Should I cut it down and try to propagate? Can I trim it near the base and it will regrow? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! Please be nice, I know I ruined the plant, and I’m embarrassed . 🫣😅

My is my black night echeveria still having soft leaves? When it arrived, it was a little soft, which makes sense since it came from the other side of the country. However, what evades me is that despite bright, direct light and occasional, it is still soft. I just changed to an even smaller pot and plucked the leaves all the way at the bottom that were clearly on their way out. However, I need tips.
