Daniel Peace Lily
About Daniel Peace Lily
The peace lily is a popular, elegant plant and not actually a lily at all! In fact, they’re more closely related to other houseplants like pothos and Monstera than actual lilies. The white ‘flowers’ are also not flowers, but specialized leaves that protect the tiny blossoms on the stalk in the center. Their ‘flowers’ may last as long as two months and they will continue to rebloom over time in the right conditions. ☮️

Finding light for Daniel Peace Lily in your home
a window
Daniel Peace Lily may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Daniel Peace Lily in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Daniel Peace Lily
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Daniel Peace Lily after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I figured since I posted a cry for help on the alocaisa (dragon scale)/LECA sitch yesterday, I post an update on the ONLY plant I have managed to transition to LECA. It seems to be doing ok... I flushed it again, and mixed a fresh batch of nutrients I used some that I had premixed when I first planted it, and it seems that maybe it was too strong 🤔 I have got some yellow and brown 🟡 🟤 on the very tips of the leaves. That usually means a fertilizing issue right? It's still pushing out flowers (peace lilly for those who can't tell) but they are not quite as "robust"? As they were before I transferred to LECA. I THINK it's pretty much acclimated. I am not exactly sure if I should leave all the dead roots in there, but the plant is still breathing and looking ok so I don't want to mess with it. I want to suggest to anyone who is experimenting with LECA without much reward to TRY A PEACE LILLY! As dramatic as everyone says they are this little gal has barely flinched!

Rehoming a PL I dont want to do this, but I've noticed my cats throwing up a lot and being super lethargic as I think it's time to rehome my lily, I'll be sad to see her go and ill have to talk to my parents but once they also notice our cats are suffering and agree to letting me rehome her, i think they will be happier and healthier same goes for the PL i dont think i can make enough time for her along with 4h, livestock, and volleyball if anyone is interested comment #newplantmom #petsandplants #buyandsell #rehoming #planttherapy #floweringplants #mothernature #needhelp

Peace Lily tips? This peace lily was originally part of a funeral arrangement with a moth orchid and a croton. I replanted all three separately. I want to enjoy this lily in my office, but am solely using a grow light because my basement has no windows. Would love some tips as I’ve never had a peace lily before. I would love to watch it flower someday! #PeaceLily #lilys #NewPlantMom

Peace Lily is down bad I’m a first time plant mom… my baby was great after I had her repotted. However within the last week, week and a half she’s been drooping real bad. Any suggestions on how to bring her back to life?? #PeaceLily #HappyPlants #NewPlantMom #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

Peace Lilly advice!! #PeaceLily I need some help :) I am a #NewPlantMom and I was given this Peace Lilly a few months back and recently moved its location and repotted a few weeks ago. I’ve noticed slits and a couple holes in the leaves but no sign of pests that I can see. The edges of the leaves are getting wavy but I haven’t noticed any soft, floppy or yellow leaves. I rotate the pot daily for sunlight and water about every 2 weeks. I know you’re usually supposed to prune damaged leaves but any ideas what could be causing the damage to the leaves?
