Brown tips and spots? I used a foliage spray a few days ago but it was already not looking very happy. I’ve been trying to deal with pests for a long time now with pretty much all my plants. Now I’m not sure if this is fungal, fluoride (doubtful), pests, weather change or what. I’ve also started using a few grow lights (2nd hand) but only one of them came with directions in Spanish. I understand most of it and I think I put it too close for a bit but I’ve since moved it farther away. I also moved it back and forth between the grow lights and the normal spot in the living room with the rest of my jungle#TiPlant #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #help #IDKwhatIdidButItsWrong #GrowLights #PestControl

Is new growth dying a sign of disease? I am entering my first winter with over 50 plants and I’ve noticed a few of my plants are sprouting dead new growth, but I’m wondering if this is normal for winter? It’s only happening to a couple of my plants…

Hello, I got my first ti plant last week and just repoted it, and I noticed a white part on the stem, with some leaf ends drying out, does anyone know what it is and how I can help it? #TiPlant

Ack, another plant down due to spider mites. SPIDER MITES. Well, it's not confirmed. A leaf is yellowing, but I see webbing inside of the pot. It was there before, but I thought it was only a spider from when I had it on the balcony. I think I'm wrong. But anyway, I have guessed the culprit is spider mites. These mindless insects are absolute garbage. I count that there are currently three plants down to these idiots. I wish I could send all of the ladybugs in the world down for these guys. But, I have an idea. Two out of the three plants infected are tolerant to the conditions outside. Outside, it is moist and cold. Spider mites like dry, warm conditions. Perfect. What do you guys think about this? #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #plantcorner #plantlove #iloveplants #newgrowth #planttlc #greggang #adhdplantlovers #pestcontrol

I found some white powdery substance on my Ti plant. Anyone else that has had this issue? I don’t think they are Millie bug. #TiPlant

Can I put my Ti Plant outside in zone 9b to get rid of spider mites? I really don't want to discard her, she's my only Ti Plant and there aren't any at other places. What I was thinking was I could prune her back to the stems or roots and then put her outside. This is similar to what happened to my Catharanthus roseus, but I want to ask the experts here in Greg. She has lost so many leaves already, so I think this is my final option. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #plantcorner #plantlove #iloveplants #newgrowth #planttlc #greggang #adhdplantlovers

My Ti plant is blooming! In the middle of winter, after she suffered some leaf damage from a bit of cold. I moved her a few weeks ago inside and have kinda been ignoring her, but as I was going to bed last night, I noticed two blooms!!! Pretty neat and it makes me wonder what the connection damage/stress has with new growth/blooms. There's definitely a correlation there! #happyplants #blooming #tiplant #cordyline #plantsmakepeoplehappy #newgrowth #plantaddict #planttherapy #theamigos #jesssjungle #greggang #plantmafia

🍀✨️ APHRODITE UPDATE! ✨️🍀 (Long post) If you have been with me since October or so, you may have remembered my Ti Plant, Aphrodite. She got spider mites and dealt with it for as long as I remember, but I worked hard with her this season, and I have brought great news. Here's a new image of Aphrodite. I gave her a small name change (from Aprodite to Aphrodite, like the god) because she will become beautiful again. Although most of her was diced away into pieces, she still lives on. The spider mites are nearly eradicated. But, I also did something yesterday. I took one of her growing sprouts and pulled it out of her pot, hopefully. This will be a new plant just in case the spider mites strike again on Aprodite. I soaked it in a mix of water and insectidal soap for about a minute and rinsed it in the sink, hopefully eradicating any possible mites on it. l am now letting it propagate in one of the hydroponic pods. I am naming the sprout Harmonia because she is the daughter of Aphrodite (both as a plant and in the myth). (Please take note that I don't know anything else about Aphrodite and Harmonia in the myth.) #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #plantcorner #plantlove #iloveplants #newgrowth #planttlc #greggang #adhdplantlovers #pestcontrol #spidermites #tiplant
