How to fertilize Common Blackberry

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Common Blackberry after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Lower leaf yellowing hasnt stopped #EuropeanRedRaspberr Hi guys~ I need some help identifying some potential issues with my raspberry. Its been growing real fine since June 2024, but i've hit a speedbump. Few lower leaves been yellowing since yesterday, and it hasnt stopped. The plant is almost 4-5 feet tall growing in a fabric pot measuring 25cm width and 20cm height. Ive been told, its normal aging leaves, but does it turn yellow this quickly? Removed 7 leaves yesterday, counted 4 yellowing leaves today. It was last watered on Monday( 5 days ago). Greg advising me to water today but im waiting another extra day. The tips of the plant are still lush and green. Weather-wise? its been warming up here. Sunny, mostly Im hoping its just a minor issue such as cramped space, lack of proper lighting, etc Thank you!!

Should this plant have a cage around it like tomato plants? #AlleghenyBlackberry

Is my raspberry ok? #EuropeanRedRaspberry Ive been keeping this guy for the past 6 months and its been growing very nicely. Lately, i noticed some symptoms on the lower leaves. Counted four leaves affected Are these problems? Is it gonna be ok? Pls advise.

Greg watering advice #EuropeanRedRaspberry I wonder if Greg's weekly watering advice (every 7-8 days) should apply to starter plants? Example: cuttings, rootlets and bareroots. I remember the process for cuttings I prepared which can be left for 2 weeks and the roots developed nicely. No additional watering needed. Greg app is no doubt great for plants with functioning roots! It helped me improve watering for most plants, I'm just wondering about U know? Cuttings, bareroots and rootlets which are still not plants yet. Do I go for the home run? (2 weeks) Coz they all received a generous amount of water on planting day. All my plants are in the growroom. They are not exposed to sun and the elements.

How does my Heritage raspberry look? #EuropeanRedRaspberry Been going off like a rocket since I adopted this heritage raspberry last few months. Guys.. do U think it's doing ok? 😅 Context: this morning, I gave it some leftover rainwater mixed with hb101 and vitamin b1 solution. Now? I'm a bit apprehensive coz it's not the usual rainwater- only drink. A little part of me wished I stick with the script that works🫥🫥 It's been cloudy, a bit of showers and sun in the morning. Hope I didn't derail it's pace of growth, no

What happened? Green but wilted #EuropeanRedRaspberry Not the kind of update I wanted to see. I'm wondering what happened? It was doing fine right into week 2 However, I did remember switching on an extra growlight earlier before this happened. Could the light be too intense? Or is this an overwatering problem? I did watered 120ml yesterday which was half the amount recommended by Greg. Included before and after pics

Ovewatering issues..how long until recovery? #EuropeanRedRaspberry Hello, hi everyone. I really appreciate if someone can please help me? I've been keeping close watch on this Heritage raspberry due to a touch extra water it received last Monday. Almost a week later, the lower leaves started turning yellow for the past 3 days. I haven't watered since the problems began, waiting for the soil to dry out completely. Its about 2 days late of its normal watering cycle. Good news: the number of affected leaves seem to be reducing, all the shoots and tips are still fresh and greenm In supposed to replant this fella in its permanent spot. Should i wait untill it fully recover? Or is it ok to replant and let it recover there? Plant is almost 5 feet high and 6-7 months old.

Is it ok to rewater hydrophobic soil? #EuropeanRedRaspberry Ok picture this: you watered your plant, but later you realised most of parts of the soil beneath repels water. What do you do? Is it ok to rewater? Coz i dont want to be overwatering.

Sunburn? Is this plant sunburn? It keeps getting yellow/purple leaves and the other plant is not. #sunburn #Blackberry #OutdoorGrowing

What are these pests (and are they even bugs?) Hello, when I was inspecting the plant (while cutting off rust infected leaves) I noticed little black specks on the leaves and also some webs (?), does anyone recognize these? #PestControl #Blackberry
