How to fertilize Colocasia 'Thai Giant'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.

To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Colocasia 'Thai Giant' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Soooo are these plants always dramatic?!? Why does one leaf die when a new one grows? Also this plant attracts a lot of gnats (seen on the yellow sticky)

I have teeny tiny little black bugs on the bottom side of the terra leaf and it’s starting to turn brown and yellow at the edges of the leaf. How do you get rid of these little bugs? They’re also leaving webs. #Taro

This plant flew home with me today. Soil from my grandmother’s garden, roots intact. I named him Lutterloh — after the farm he comes from. He crossed provinces. He crossed time. He carries a place that raised people who raised me. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #AlocasiaAddicts #Alocasia #PlantID

Neglected 😔 #Taro so I’m not even sure I have identified correctly what this plant is. Over the past 2.5 years I’ve not taken good care of this guy and it clearly shows. A repot is first and foremost but was almost wondering if I should just cut everything at the (very outgrown) stem and just start over or just get rid of what’s bad and hope what has potential gets better. It used to look sooo good, you can see in my gallery the long decline it took 😢. Any and all advice (especially if you identify this as something else.. just looks wrong to me)
